SEAFLO NEO is a high performance TBT free hydrolysis antifouling, utilizing a special and unique polymer to deliver an ultra smooth surface with self-leveling technology and excellent self-polishing performance, thus providing long term antifouling protection, low friction resistance in resulting low-fuel consumption. SEAFLO NEO is the lowest VOC(330g/L) antifouling in the hydrolysis category.
Accumulating our long history and experiences, SEAFLO NEO SL is now launched into the market which achieved a ultra smooth surface and constant/lower polishing rate by means of advanced silyl technology as well as micro pigmentation technology. Thanks to newly developed silyl polymer and self-leveling performance, SEAFLO NEO SL is designed in low VOC with high solid which can provide less quantity used for specific docking interval without any undesirable fouling even for 90 months docking interval.

It is confirmed that paint films of SEAFLO NEO consist of ultra smooth with long wavelength after analyzing Replicates collected and detected from several applications at the same shipyard.
Friction Increasing Ratio from smooth surface can be predicted by following simple equation that derived from cylinder test results.
Friction increasing by roughness is confirmed by Double Cyliner Analyzer which can measure the friction similar to the actual vessel during her operation.

This 3D analysis shows the relation of roughness, wavelength and FIR.Those obtained from Double Cylinder test.The more Rz (Roughness) becomes smooth, the more Friction Increase Ratio (=FIR) becomes less. In case paint film can obtain long wavelength, it naturally achieves low Friction. On the other hand, the short wavelength requires more torque. SEAFLO NEO SERIES are figured out within a range of blue circle under smooth roughness as indicates.
