When only one figure is given, it applies to both sizes. Materials: 450 (500) g of Lana Grossa Cashseta (40% Modal, 30% polyamide, 15% cashmere, 15% silk; 100 m/50 g) in Grey/Beige (col 6). Size 8 mm needles; size 6 mm crochet hook; cable needle [cn]. St st: K on RS, p on WS. Full-fashion dec: At beg of RS rows, skp, 3 sts in from edge; at end of RS rows, k2tog, 3 sts in from edge. Chart A on page 40: Numbers at left edge of chart indicate WS rows, num- bers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows. On all WS rows not shown on chart, work sts as they appear. Rows 2 – 14 are worked as short-rows to shape the hem. Work a yo at beg of every short-row. On foll row, work yo tog with next st as k2tog or p2tog tbl to prevent a gap. Beg on row 15 work across all sts, remembering to work yo tog with next st as p2tog tbl. Work rows 1 – 123 once, then rep rows 122 and 123. Chart B on page 39: Number at left edge of chart indicates WS row, numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows. On all WS rows not shown on chart, work sts as they appear. Cont in this manner, working 5 additional sts at end of next 12 rows (5 additional sts at end of next 10 rows, 8 additional sts at end of next 2 rows) = 80 (86) sts after row 15. Cont to foll chart through row 39. Next RS row [chart row 40]: Work cable crossing as shown on chart. Cont to foll chart through row 85. Work even until armhole meas 17 (18) cm and 38 (40) rows have been worked from beg of armhole shaping. Shape neck: Next RS row: Bind off center 20 sts. Working each side separately, bind off 4 sts at each neck edge once. Bind off rem 14 (17) sts for each shoulder. Front: With size 8 mm needles cast on 40 (43) sts for left half of front. Next WS row: Work row 1 of chart B. Beg with sel- vage st, work 39 (42) sts from arrow b (d) to black center line. Cont to foll chart through row 31. Place sts on holder. Cut yarn. With size 8 mm needles cast on 40 (43) sts for right half of front. Work row 1 of chart B. Work 39 (42) sts between black center line and arrow a (c), end selvage st. Cont to foll chart through row 31. Next RS row [chart row 32]: Work across sts of right half, cont across sts of left half on holder and at same time work cable crossing as shown on chart = 80 (86) sts. Cont to foll chart through row 71. Shape armholes same as for back and at same time, divide work at center on chart row 74. Working each side separately, cont to foll chart through row 97. Next RS row [chart row 98]: Work to last 8 sts of first side, hold last 8 sts of first side parallel and in front of first 8 sts of 2nd side, [k tog first st on front needle and first st on back needle] 8 times, work to end of 2nd side = 56 (62) sts. Work even until armhole meas 13.5 (14.5) cm and 30 (32) rows have been worked from beg of armhole sha- ping. Shape neck: Next RS row: Bind off center 12 sts. Working each side separa- tely, bind off 3 sts at each neck edge once, 2 sts once. Working full-fashion dec, dec 1 st at each neck edge every RS row 3 times and when same length as back to shoulders, bind off rem 14 (17) sts for each shoulder. Sleeves: With size 8 mm needles cast on 34 (37) sts. Beg with a WS row, work in St st and shape sleeve as foll: Inc 1 st at each end of 24rd row from cast-on, then every 8th row 3 times, then every 6th row 5 times = 52 (55) sts. Work even until piece meas 40 cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row. Shape sleeve cap: Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Working full-fashion dec, dec 1 st at each end of next 15 RS rows. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows. Bind off rem 8 (11) sts. Finishing: Pin pieces to measurements and block. Sew shoulder seams. With size 6 mm crochet hook work 1 rnd rev sc [work sc from left to right] around neck edge. Sew in sleeves.
