THE WAY TO A DATA DRIVEN COMPANY
© https://iqinstitute.de/iqi-house-of-information-quality
REQUIREMENT: TRANSFORMATION PROCESS OF GIS
- 29
isolate GRID documentation integrate GRID architecture intelligent smart GRID
Analogue to the BIM methodology: Every asset has to know its function, the relation to other assets and its lifecycle and will "behave" according to the rules defined -adequate and timely: Utility Network from Esri supports these goals.
CONCLUSION• without GIS & data science an energy supply company would not
be able to set the course for the future• system integration is the driver for better data quality• professional data management in a company is the base• transformation of GIS-Applications to data-driven decision systems
with intelligent data is a must• the energy transition and explicit the liberalization of the gas
market are the key factors for the company transformation and the need of intelligent tools in combination of high quality data
