Mr. Paul V. Rosasco Project Coordinator Engineering Management Support, Inc. 25923 Gateway Drive Golden, Colorado 80401

    Dear Mr. Rosasco:

11201 Renner Boulevard Lenexa, Kansas 66219

    OCT 2 7 2017

On October 9, 2017, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency provided you our comments on the August 25, 2017, revised Final Feasibility Study, West Lake Landfill, OU-1, or FFS. On October 17, 2017, the EPA provided you our comments to Appendix B of the draft FFS. The EPA requested that you provide the agency a Response to Comments, or RTC on those documents by October 27, 2017.

The purpose of this letter is to document our recent conversation regarding prioritization of the multiple concurrent Remedial Investigation Addendum and Final Feasibility Study work products and associated deadlines. As a result of that conversation, the EPA is hereby granting the requested extension to the deadline for submittal of the RTC. The RTC on the October 9 and October 17, 2017, comments on the FFS is now due in our office by November 3, 2017. This extension does not affect the deadline for submittal of the Revised FFS.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns by phone at (913) 551-7141 or by e-mail at [email protected].
