His name is Jesus Christ

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ invites you and I into a personal relationship with Himself.

A. He knows exactly who we are and still desires our friendship.

Matthew 11:19 - The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds.”

B. He laid down His life for us, proving His love and providing a way for us to enter into a friendship with Him.

John 15:13 - Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

C. He knocks on the door of our lives. It is up to you and I to respond to His invitation.

Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

You can answer the door by praying a simple prayer like this:

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I know you know everything thing about me. You know all of my secrets and my sins. I know I don't deserve a friendship relationship with you and a place in heaven with you forever. I also know that my sins but a barrier between me and you. I know too that you laid down your life for my sins so that I could be forgiven and enter into this friendship with you. I know you rose gain from the dead giving proof that you are who you claimed to be. I hear you knocking and the best way I know how I am answering and asking you into my life as my Lord, Savior and Friend, forever. Amen “
