In Loving Memory Mother
Mrs. Ethel Lunette Fuller Neville was born September 26, 1913, in Orange
County. She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Arche Fuller and Mrs.
Barbara Ellen Cearnel Fuller. She departed this life on September 6, 2013, at
UNC Hospital. Mrs. Ethel was the last of her siblings. One granddaughter,
Kyla Neville Thompson preceded her in death.
She attended High Rock School in Efland, NC. She was married to the late
Jeter Wilbert Neville, unto this union, five children were born. She was a
devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
At an early age, she joined White Cross A.M.E. Church in Efland, NC. She
later joined Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, NC;
where she was a faithful member. She served as Deaconess, Missionary, Senior Choir and Sunday
School member. She was a lovely, quiet woman who was an avid listener with an impeccable memory.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Wilbert of Chapel Hill, NC; Johnson (Wilda) of
Durham, NC; Calvin of the home; Ethel of Mebane and Jerry (Sheila) of Durham, NC. Two grand-
daughters, April and Ashley Neville; three grandsons: Yusuf Neville, Shea Neville and Emory Neville
and a host of relatives and friends.
In Loving Memory Father
Jeter Neville was born in 1899, in Orange County. He married Martha
Reeves and they had two children, Lucy and Joseph Neville. Martha Reeves
Neville passed away at an early age.
Jeter was a devoted member of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church,
where he served as Deacon. He later married Ethel Fuller and they had five
children. He worked as a janitor at Northside Elementary School.
They were a close-knit family and had a wonderful life together. He was a
very caring man known throughout Chapel Hill-Carrboro, as one who
always offered a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Jeter departed this
life on September 6, 1960.
We are in Heaven together dear ones,
Oh, so happy and so bright,
There is perfect joy and beauty,
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed,
We are now at peace forever,
Together in Heaven at last.
