Friday, November 6 - 8:30 am: Introductions - brief business meeting -cross-training program - a “pecha kucha”, too - new business -announcements - adjournment and networking with other Lebanon Countyproviders and guests.
It’s important for “fully-functioning” communities to have awarenessand on-going training/cross-training practices and cross-referral between Linkpartners and local service providers. The monthly cross-training is combinedwith the monthly community partner’s meeting.

As the APPRISE coordinator, Lee’s presentation focuses on the State Health InsuranceAssistance Program (SHIP) for Pennsylvanians on Medicare and how her team and shehelp seniors understand their Medicare insurance options and make informed choices thatwould best meet their needs including objective, easy-to-understand information aboutMedicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Medicaid, “Extra Help” Programs,PACE/PACENET.
Jan’s presentation will provide an up-to-the-moment status report about Cedar HavenHealthcare’s services and resources - including short term rehabilitation, long term nursingservices, respite stays and memory impairment care - as well as the educational offerings.
