DECORATED EGG COMPETITIONThis year we are once again holding our Decorated Egg Competition where children can decorate an egg at home in any way they like. Eggs will be judged by class with prizes going to the best ‘Child’s Own Work’ entry and the best ‘Family Contribution’ entry. All entries must be in no later than 3.00pm on Monday 23 rd March 2015 to be in with a chance of winning. Have fun!

YEAR 3 & YEAR 4 PERFORMANCEOur Year 3 & Year 4 pupils are performing ‘The Willow Pattern’ for parents/carers on Thursday 26 th March 2015 at 10am. We hope you can come along.

LOOSE CHANGE COLLECTIONNext week a collection tub will be in the main school entrance and we ask that if anyone has any loose change please send it into school with your child and we will hopefully fill the tub and raise lots of money for the ‘Dreame Fund’.

CLASS EASTER EGG RAFFLEFrom Monday each class will have a Giant Easter Egg to raffle. Raffle tickets will cost £1.00 per strip and the winner will be drawn on Thursday 26th March during the school day. All proceeds will go to the ‘Dreame Fund’. We hope you will take part. Please see your child’s class teacher on the door to buy giraffe your tickets. Thank you.

EASTER FUN DAYWe are holding our Easter Fun Day on Friday 27th March 2015 while your child is in school. We have planned:

Treasure Hunts Egg Rolling – if your child would like to take part in this please send them into school with a hard-

boiled egg on Friday 27 th Biscuit Decorating Treats including juice and crisps plus other fun activities

To help with the cost of this event, we ask for a contribution of £1.50 for each child from parents/carers. Included in this price your child will get to take part in all of the activities, receive treats and come to school in non-uniform. Any money left over after all resources are paid for will go to the ‘Dreame Fund’. We hope you will contribute and help to make the day a special one for the children. Please complete the reply slip below and return it to school on or before 27th March with payment if you have not already done so. Thank you.

CHIPS IN PAPEROn Friday 27th March lunch will be chips and sausage wrapped in paper (chip shop style). If your child doesn’t usually have school lunches but would like to have a ‘Chippy Lunch’ please send £2.10 to school on or before this day.

HIDDEN WORDDon’t forget to look out for the hidden word again today! When you find it add it to your answer sheet and make sure you hand your answer sheet in to school before Friday 27 th March to be in with a chance of winning!

THE GREAT DAFFODIL APPEALWe have daffodil badges for sale at the school office in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We ask for a donation of at least £1 per daffodil. If your child or you would like to buy a daffodil please call at the school office or send the money in with your child along with the reply slip below. Thank you.

EASTER BREAKSchool closes at 3.00pm next Friday 27th March for the Easter break. We re-open on Tuesday 14 th April at 9.00am (8.00am for breakfast club).

FILM NIGHT AT SALVATION ARMYThe next film night at the Salvation Army Bedlington is ‘Paddington’ being shown on Wednesday 25 th March from 5.30pm. Entry is £2 with a tuck shop during the event. More information can be found by ringing 01670 829356.

HEALTHY TUCK SHOPThere is no healthy tuck shop on Friday 27th March due to our Easter activities. The tuck shop will resume after the Easter break.

YEAR 5 EASTER ENTERPRISEPlease see attached sheet regarding our Year 5 Easter Enterprise sale. The sale is open to the whole school.
