On Wednesday, Class 3 did Forest School for the morning and Mr Wedderkopp told us how to make helping hearts. He said if we were kind and aware of others’ needs, we would be able to pin our helping hearts onto the friendship post. We made popcorn in a giant sieve by putting corn into it and holding it over the fire until it popped into popcorn! We played ‘1,2,3 Where are You?’. Mr Wedderkopp had hidden around the field some cards with growth mind-set statements written on and we had to find them and match them up in 4 minutes and 45 seconds! We made a den from poles and things we found around the field. Our dens were really big, but then they fell down! by Betsy and Brooke, Class 3 .

Dear Parents and Carers, Welcome back! We’re sure Spring is creeping forward slowly and we want to use our grounds more this term, starting next week (please see Diary Dates). Our recent Parents’ Survey was the most positive endorsement of the school ever – thank you! One of the things you’d like us to think about is improving school meals. Team A Team B

On Wednesday two fantastic Year 4 teams travelled to Somerset College to compete in a Catchball tourna-ment. Both teams put their hard work and practice into play, displaying superb skills and teamwork over the 4 games that they played (see results table below). Well done to all the children who played and thank you to all the parents who helped transport the teams. Miss Brown
