PIPELINE SYSTEM CON-STRUCTION: Construction of transmission pipeline consist-ing of the following approxi-mate quantities: 500 feet of open-cut 12-inch PVC pipeline; 120 feet of open-cut 16-inch PVC pipeline; 2,260 feet of open-cut 18-inch PVC pipeline; 40,200 feet of open-cut 20-inch PVC pipeline; 8,200 feet of open-cut 24-inch PVC pipeline; 450 feet of directionally bored 20-inch fusible PVC pipeline; 100 feet of uncased, bored 18-inch fusible PVC pipeline; 1500 feet of uncased, bored 20-inch PVC pipeline; 1700 feet of 20-inch PVC pipeline installed on steep slopes; 2 12-inch gate valves; 3 16-inch gate valves; 4 18-inch gate valves; 13 20-inch gate valves; 2 24-inch gate valves; 10 flush hydrants and valves; 11 2-inch air/vacuum valves; 66,000 pounds of ductile iron fittings; connections to existing pipeline systems; all associated fittings and appurtenances; flushing and testing; signage; gravel; and seeding.

A Pre-Bid conference has been scheduled for the 11th of August, 2016 at 2:00 pm local time at the office of AE2S; which is located at 300 15th Street South, Suite 7, Great Falls, MT. Attendance at the Pre-Bid conference is not mandatory.

Bidder and any of the Bidder’s Subcontractors will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) prior to bidding on this project, and must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. Forms for registra-

tion are available from the DLI, PO Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, MT 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling (406) 444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by Bidder or its subcontractors in performance of the Work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Hill County and the State of Mon-tana. All Bids shall be prepared according to the Instruction to Bidders contained within the Project Manual. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bid Security in the form of a Bidder’s Bond executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Montana, payable to North Central Montana Regional Water Authority, in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the Bid. This is to serve as a guarantee that the successful Bidder will enter into a Contract within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award, in accordance with the terms of the principal’s Bid and Contractor’s Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the govern-ing board for the performances of such Work. Only Bids that are accompanied by such a Bond will be considered. Federal Regulations: The project is funded in part by the Bureau of Reclamation and the State of Montana Treasure State Endowment Program – Regional Water System funds and/or the Drinking Water Revolving Fund Loan

Program. Award of the project will be contingent upon the receipt of funding and award concurrence from these enti-ties. Bidders on this Work will be required to comply with Title 41 CFR Part 60-4, 40 CFR-35.3145(d), and President’s Executive Orders 11246 and 12549. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these Regulations and Execu-tive Orders concern utilization of Minority Business Enterpris-es (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Small Businesses (SBE), and are explained in the Specifications.
