delivered by Sheffield Hallam University and a separate session delivered by Youth Sport Trust.

10:45 – 11:45: Teacher Session – Sheffield Hallam University

In this session, led by Sheffield Hallam University, we will be giving an

overview of the Sport offer at the higher education level and specifically at

Sheffield Hallam University.

We will discuss the vast opportunities available for students, not only the

wide range of courses we offer, but through sport programmes, clubs and

extra-curricular activities.

We’ll also talk about the types of activities currently on offer and hear from

you about your needs and requirements when thinking about

opportunities for your students progressing into HE.

14:00 - 15:00: Teacher Session – Youth Sport Trust: Hosted by Emily Reynolds, Head of Sport, Youth Sport Trust

Teachers will hear about the work the Youth Sport Trust is doing to

transform PE’s place on the curriculum, putting it at the centre of students’

wellbeing and achievement.

Through the session, teachers will be encouraged to reflect on their PE

offer, positioning it to be a subject which develops young people’s

wellbeing and achievement, not just their sporting ability.
