Placement criteria:– Tests : STAR Testing– Teacher recommendations– First semester grades– Second semester grades– Summer school
HONORS/AP – WHAT TO DO?
You should be reading at the 90+ percentile Make sure you can handle the honors/AP
coursework– Make sure you can handle the number of those
courses you select “Schedule for success” – know yourself,
know your limits Be careful of “overload” in the junior year! Keep things in balance!

ADDITIONAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
CAHSEE – MUST pass to earn diploma! Additionally, competency must be
demonstrated in computer skills Students must at least pass Algebra I Students must complete Career Shadowing
