DivisionTask Cardsfour-digit dividends and two-digit divisors Created by Rose TranDivision Task CardsFor small group, pairs, or centers use Solve and Match: Print (preferably in color), laminate, cut, and shuffle cards. Have students choose 1 card at a time. Then, solve using the standard algorithm on the scratch paper provided. Match the division expression to the correct quotient. Optional: Have students check division work using multiplication. Have calculators available for students to check their work. This activity is aligned to TEK 5.3C. The student is expected to solve with proficiency for quotients of up to a four-digit dividend by a two-digit divisor using strategies and the standard algorithm.
