AOORESS REPLY TO"THE ATTORNEY GENERAL"
AND REFER TOINITIALS AND NUMBER 'DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
WASHINGTON, D. C.
Reference is made to your memorandum of April 9, 1943concerning the above-captioned individual advising of denaturalization proceedings in the United States District Court for theSouthern District of California against the above-named individual.
This subjectts name appears only in the caption ofyour memorandum. In the body of the memorandum it is suggestedthat a Presidential Warrant be issued in contemoIat.Lon of theapprehension of Fuhlhage as a dangerous alien enemy, subsequentto his possible denaturalization in the proceedings now pendingin Los AngeLes , It is assumed that this is merely a typographicalerror and that the name wNinzen" should have been substituted forthe name "FuhIhage ", It is noted that a Presidential ~·!arrant tobe executed upon the entry of an order canceling the certificateof naturalization of one Wil1i:J.m Albert Fuhlhage was issued andtransmitted to your Bureau on April 7, 1943.
