Faith without fruit is not following Jesus

The starting point and the sustaining power in the Christian’s life

is the Word of God!

HE MUST INCREASE, I MUST DECREASE

1) You are truly Jesus’ disciple.

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:7–8)

“Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.” (2 John 9)

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17) “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised

against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ...”
