July is the month to celebrate our independence. We do this in many ways. Some take long and well deserved vacations, visiting family and friends. Some visit theme or amusement parks, like Dollywood or Disneyland. Some stay at home and relax after a long winter of working. We celebrate this time in many ways, but do we ever think of what it cost our ancestors and the patriots so we can have this time. I have been thinking a lot lately of the conditions of our nation, we are in another election year. Just what will be the outcome and how it will affect our future and the future of our children and grandchildren. It took several years to fully get the constitution written and for the people to agree on it. Now many of the amendents and freedoms we enjoyed are being taken from us. When we allowed prayer to be taken out of our schools, we opened the door a little for more freedoms to be taken away. We are still a great nation and we don't have to allow our freedoms to be taken away. I read that about 87% of our nation claim to be CHRISTIAN by faith. So why do the 87% of us allow a 13% to dictate and run our lives. We believe in ALMIGHTY GOD the creator and in GOD we trust. He has given us wisdom and a voice to speak out, the patriots used this priviledge to make our nation so great. Are we betraying them by allowing our leaders to tread on our values and our flag, that so many have held to and died for. The flag that has flown proudly all across our nation is now being abused and taken so lightly. We, as an American people have a responsibilty to future generations to keep the freedoms we have enjoyed. We are in danger of losing all freedoms, if you don't believe it, just look around. Our media types are only broadcasting what they are told to do. Freedom of speech is lacking in our nation. Don't we know that in a lot of countries they have no freedom to speak and let their voice be heard, do we really want it like that here? Please think and pray on these things, let's keep our nation, ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, NOT DIVIDED! Lets keep our nation united so many future generations can enjoyed the freedoms we do.

Words Of Woeby Jack R. Hodge

As time goes by in this world today.Revelations is being world fulfilled.

We must do our part to gather the lost. Helping others to do Gods will.

This nation is falling into satins hands. We must pray to God, do the best we can.

We cannot stand by in a world of woe.If we do nothing, it will take its toll.

We watched the writings consuming the earth.Time is here now for what it is worth.

Read Revelations, we must open our eyes.It won’t be long. to this Earth we will say good-bye.

Hebrews 10:23-2523-Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without

wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24-And let us consider one another in order

to stir up love and good works, 25-not forsaking the assembling of ourselves

together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more

as you see the Day approaching.

Simple LifeBy Stacey Evans (from devotional: Standing In God’s Grace)

The activities of life thrust us into a whirlwind of complex schedules and never-ending tasks. We seek the simple life but, too often, find ourselves in exactly the opposite…a life of too much to do and not enough time to do it. Countless self-help books and magazines flourish the supermarket checkout aisles promising easy ways to simplify our lives. So, where does Jesus fit into all of this? Do we have enough time for the One who gave up everything to redeem our sins? Is it realistic to be able to fit Him into our schedules beyond the prayers at meal time and at bedtime and Sunday church service? Easter is one of the gentle reminders of the hope, sacrifice and promise of our Savior. It nudges us to want more out of our relationship with Him. Much like our New Year’s resolution; however, the earnestness fades as the weeks quickly pass into May, then June, then July and beyond, until we come to December; only to be reminded of the “promise” we didn’t get to keep because we were too busy. It’s almost as if our “Jesus life” and our “daily life” aren’t united. We truly love the Lord but then we get caught up in overspending, being overworked, overly scheduled, and overly tired. So, how do we do it? How do we have a close relationship with our Lord? One that keeps us connected and feeling His presence? The simple life. How do we get it? How can we be like Mary and Jo that live in a 1400 square foot house they’ve owned for 45 years while driving the same car for 10? How do we not worry about the dandelion infested front yard or the worn carpet in the house? How can we get to a place when little is enough? How can we make our lives simpler so that we can enjoy Jesus more?

It begins with a change of heart, and a little one at that. Enjoying the simple creates a craving for more of the simple. Less stress, less worry, less strain. All of these things begin with simply seeking our Savior on a daily basis, noticing the small ways that He makes a big difference, AND in being thankful for those small things. It becomes a domino effect in our lives: we seek more of Him and He changes our perspective on our wants and needs. He shifts our priorities. When we first seek Him, everything else we need is provided (Matthew 6:33). So, how do you start? Simply seek Him through reading His word daily…if only 5 minutes, give Him uninterrupted time to see what He has to say to you through His word by listening to the audio Bible while driving in the car on your way to work or an activity. Simply give to others in any way you can…through a smile, a free lunch, paying a bill for them, offering babysitting, cleaning their home, giving to charity, etc. Simply surround yourself with godly support…through joining a church, joining a small group, reaching out to a fellow church member for prayer, etc. Simply pray and pray simple…pray as often throughout the day as possible and just talk to the Lord. It doesn’t have to be a glamorous prayer; just a simple one. The simple life. It can be that simple! Godliness with contentment is great gain! (1 Timothy 6:6-10)

In Love With Jesus?by Diana Crabtree

How do we show someone that we love them? We are going to look at a few ways that we do that.

1. Make time for them Ever notice when you love someone you want to hang around with them? You want that person to be with you everywhere you go. When you are away from them, you are thinking about them. You make dates so you can go somewhere together and be alone, just talking or having fun, even if it is just talking about everyday things. You get their opinions on things. What is important to them becomes important to you. You make time. You plan your days around being able to spend time with them. Most people can see that you are crazy in love right? Just by the goofy look on your face if nothing else. Or by the way you talk about that person to others when they aren’t around. “Guess what my husband said?” or “You wouldn’t believe what a great guy my boyfriend is. “ You talk about what it is you love about that person. We’re kind of obsessed when we’re in love aren’t we? We kind of have a one track mind. When you’re in love you go off the deep end. You do things you can’t explain or that you never thought you would do. Can any of us say that about our relationship with Jesus? How much time do we spend with Jesus? Are we fascinated by Him? Do we try and make Him happy? Does the Savior of the world give us goose bumps? Do we jealously guard our time alone with Him? Is being alone with Him one of the most important things on our agenda?

2. Sacrifice for them Another thing we do when we are in love is sacrifice for the one we love. Have you ever noticed that a mother will sacrifice what she wants for the needs of her children? She will do without going to the dentist herself if she doesn’t have enough money. That child will have the fillings it needs and she will do without. She won’t complain about it either. She just does it because it needs to be done and she is willing to do something for that child because she loves the child and wants what is best for it. Love is sacrificial. If you’ve never sacrificed anything you wanted for someone else you’ve never been in love. Let’s say you buy your

mom something for mother’s day instead of buying something you wanted because you love her and want her to feel appreciated. What about the sacrifice of our time? There are those that spend Thanksgiving and Christmas working in homeless shelters, volunteers who move debris from flood ravaged homes, teacher’s who use their off work hours to see that someone doesn’t fall behind or help them a new language. Why do they do it? Because that is the way they say I love you and care about you. What have we sacrificed for Jesus? Have we given up any of our money, our time, or our talents for Him? Have we given up a bad habit or something we would really rather keep doing but know that He doesn’t like it? Have we sacrificed something we want for something He wants?

3. Do things that please them When you are in love with someone you want to please them. Have you ever wanted to just make your Dad smile? Have you ever done or said something to someone because you wanted to please them? A boy works two jobs so he can take his best girl to the prom and out to eat later. He wants to please her. And all those hard won hours are nothing to him when he sees her smile. That’s because love doesn’t count the cost. When we love someone we want to please them don’t we? We kind of do things on purpose for those that we love. If we know that a certain perfume is our mom’s favorite we buy it because it is her favorite. If we know a certain behavior is frowned upon by our boyfriend we tend to avoid that behavior, because we want to please him. We not only do things that please those we love, we don’t do things that would displease them. Do we do the things that we know would please Jesus? Do we avoid those things that displease Him?

4. Be patient with them Love is patient. We don’t expect that our child will be born knowing how to walk do we? We know that the child will eventually learn how to walk and we allow ample time for that because we love that child and we know what they don’t, that they will eventually get it and walk unaided one day. Love sees the big picture and is patient. God is patient with us. Why should we not be patient with Him? He gives His children time to grow and learn. Why should we not follow His example and

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in

the LORD.Psalm 31:24 King James Version (KJV)

be patient with God? We are told to wait upon the Lord. Waiting involves patience. Do we love God enough to give Him time to work out His perfect will for our lives? Are we patient with others? Do we give someone the benefit of the doubt and exercise restraint and patience with people? These are just a few things to think about this month as we go about our daily business. I pray dear friend that you fall in love with Jesus and spend some time with Him this week.

Linda’s Thoughtsby Linda Hodge

How many of you get up every morning and one of the first things you do is turn on your computer? How many first go to Facebook to view the posts your friends made? How many go to your e-mail to check out messages your friends have sent you? Do you answer them right away? Does this make you feel closer to your friends and family? Isn’t it great that we have a way to stay in contact with friends, family and just enjoy reading about them and what is going on in their lives? I know I do. It is fun keeping up with old friends and finding out about things going on in their lives or in your hometown. First, there is absolutely nothing wrong with keeping up with our friends and family. After all God gave them to us. Second, a lot of times our friends and family members need to know someone out there is thinking of them and cares about how their day is going. Wouldn’t it be nice though if each of us would take as much time reading our Bible and working to help others in need instead of just reading about it? I know I am not perfect and I don’t do a lot of the things that God expects us to do for others. I try and I tell myself I am going to do better but something always comes up and I lay these things aside to do what is currently at hand. I know I shouldn’t do this but I do. I know I am supposed to read my Bible everyday but, I am ashamed to say, I sometimes do not because of something coming

up that takes me away from my reading. I know I am supposed to help my fellowman but, things come up in my life I need to address and I forget I am supposed to be helping others who are not always able to help themselves, either financially or physically. What I am trying to say, but not very well I am afraid, is that we all let things come into our lives that make us forget the things we know we are supposed to be doing. We should all be working to tell others about God and His love for us but few of us do. Sometimes we just don’t feel we “have the time” or we are afraid others will “talk about us behind our backs” or some of us feel that we “haven’t been called” to tell others about God. Friend, you do not have to wait “to be called” to talk about God and all He has done for you. All you have to do is open your mouth and start talking. If each of us just stop and think, I challenge each of you to not be able to think of at least one thing God has done for you today. If you really think about it you will see many, many things He has done for you. I thank God for what he has given me. I have a home, family, food and good health. Just a few of His blessings. No I am not among the wealthiest people in the world. At least not material wise. I am wealthy though. My father owns everything and He shares with me much of his wealth. He shares the flowers, the beautiful cloud filled blue sky. The birds, my friends and my family. But most of all He shares His love. Thank you God for loving and saving my soul. I know I am blessed beyond compare with your blessings. Thank you for getting me through the rough times as well as the good and for providing me with food and clothes and for my wonderful family. Think about it friend. Don’t you have a lot to be thankful for? Stop right now and just say “Thank You God”.

Pastor Travis Duncan

I would like our readers to see how far this young man has progressed in his ministry in the past few years. I have been following Pastor Travis Dunkin’s Progress fore some time now. What a joy to see the youth following our Lord and Savor. For those of you that are connected with face book on the internet can look up Pastor Travis Duncan. My wife Linda and I were in Olive Hill, Ky. for the Fourth of July 2010 celebration when we met Pastor Duncan. As we came upon the Dairy Queen, I noticed people setting up for a gospel singing. I pulled into the parking lot to leave a few One Voice Magazines. I approached a young teenager and asked who was in charge. “I am” he replied. Well, this made me extremely happy as I always get excited when I see our youth in the ministry. A story from Pastor Travis Duncan. There is a story behind my profile Picture..... At 9 yrs. of age a little boy laying in his bedroom after a church service starts crying, everyone asleep, He looks up and does exactly what he had been taught to do, "Dear Jesus I know you died for me and rose again, Take all my sins away, I love you so much Lord" He was baptized then at that point he began singing, learned to play guitar. by age 13 he was setting on the living room couch, he was supposed to be studying multiplication tables, instead he was reading Noah and how God Spoke to him about the ark, How long, high, wide, exactly how to build it.

As he read he heard a voice call out his name "Travis" He had been taught to answer, "Yes, Lord!" "I have Called you to preach my Gospel, This is my Word that you will preach to my people" At 13 He Answered and Told God " I won't run Lord, I know You will lead me, I love you! I accept my Calling" Later on after preaching under a church and being lead by God, at 15 yrs of age setting inside church the Lord started dealing with his heart. He began to draw a picture, It was the VISION, A small building on the side of the road, A sign, The sign read "New Harvest Church" After showing his family, 2 yrs down the road at 17, after all the growth, Travis and his Mom Moved forward on God's time, Searching for a Few months for a church They Found

one they liked. One day Travis and his mom was on their way back from the grocery store in Morehead, KY on old 60 east toward Olive Hill. Travis Woke up with a chill as they passed the old storefront church building that Travis was raised in, It was now a yard sale place, He Told his mom to turn the car around, Frightened by the excitement of Travis waking so quickly she turns around, pulls up to the old building. He Jumps out in a hurry looks in the 2 double glass doors and sure enough the building was empty. A single cardboard box was sitting in the middle of the floor. Two yrs after the vision, Travis turns around to his mom setting awaiting an answer, by the look on his face, Nancy (His mom) Knew what it was, IT WAS TIME! after a few weeks of working stuff out and lots and lots of prayer, they moved into the build to re-fix what is now New Harvest

Independent Church. Through Sweat, hard work, tears, lots of help from friends and family New Harvest was Beginning to form. The Doors opened exactly a month after clean up, on Sept. 26th 2009. 2 yrs later it stands strong, because a family was willing to step out in faith and do people good by listening to what God had to say. This can't be done alone guys everything must follow after Gods Word, His knowledge and understanding, and him alone. Without God we are nothing. We are New Harvest Independent Church, Built upon a Rock,

Even the best of relationships will probably have disagreements. While the worst will more than likely have intense disagreements. Why all the disagreeing, fussing, and arguing? Why can't people just get along? The answer is found in James 4:1-6, "From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with

God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God

resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." Notice what God states about the fighting and warring. It begins within. Verse one states: "From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?" In other words, something inside is not settled or peaceful; something is missing. Verse two further confirms this observation by revealing: "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because you ask not." The word "lust" means "a longing" for what is forbidden, according to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. Desire, according to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, carries the meaning "move with envy" or "be jealous over." We further see couples arguing and fighting over, not necessarily external issues, but something not settled, peaceful, or missing.

The next area of battle can be more spiritual. Verse three reveals: "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." If someone seeks God in prayer but with impure motives, God will not answer. This situation can further add to the conflicts and hurts. Verse four begins to reveal the direction that needs to be taken in order to silence this battle within it. It states: " Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." God must be first! If God is not in first place, internal struggles develop that can be manifested as arguing, fussing, and disagreements in marriage. The answer to this externally manifested (arguing with spouse) and internally originated (lack of peace or something missing) is found in verse six. It states: "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble." Humility is the key to solving the arguing, fighting, fussing, etc. When a believer humbles themselves before God; pride, arrogance, self-will, selfishness, etc. is removed from the marriage. Love and servanthood begins to flow and the relationship begins to become satisfying as never before. Friends, if arguing, fussing, or fighting is destroying your marriage, get on your knees and humble yourself. In doing so, God's power and peace will be released in your life as never before and healing and restoration will begin to take place in the marriage.

Back in time when we first met.Your kiss on my mind, It was heaven sent.

The love we share will never end.You are my lover, you are my best friend.

As years go by and we grow old.The memories we will make, the stories to be told.

Of two people that were meant to be.God put us together, for all to see.

A love like ours will last on in time. With each breath I take, your always on my mind.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:22 (King James Version)

Just Let Him Use Youby Bonnie Barker

This world is getting darkSo much sin is all around

Is there something we can doWe can tell the world about you

Our lord and saviorPlease guide us through

There is so much for us to hearBut we choose not to listen

Why do we fight the voice insideWe need to let jesus be our guide

Nailed to the crossFor us he died

ChorusHe has a plan for meHe has a plan for you

Don’t be afraidOf what he knows you can doYou are more than you knowSo much more than you show

God can use youLet him use you

Don’t you walk awayPlease have the faith to stay

And let him lead you He will lead you

Just let him use youAnd he will use you

You may doubt what’s deep withinYou may not want the world to know you

But people need to seeThat jesus is the keyThat he’s the answer

For you and me

Open up your heartIt’s time to get rid of the doubt

Shine the light withinAnd help others shed their sin

If we follow jesusWe all shall win

ChorusHe has a plan for meHe has a plan for you

Don’t be afraidOf what he knows you can doYou are more than you knowSo much more than you show

God can use youLet him use you

Don’t you walk awayPlease have the faith to stay

And let him lead you He will lead you

Just let him use youAnd he will use youJust let him use youAnd he will use you

BOLETO GRATIS PARA EL MEJOR DE LOS ESPECTÁCULOS

¡Coro celestial en la presencia de Jesús!¡Escoja Cielo o Infierno AHORA!

After you pray call your minister, or if you don’t have one, call:

Evangelist Warren Biddle for counsel at 945-3757

Romanos 10:13.

Heaven or Hell NOW!For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. From the Kitchen of Chef Jack HodgeCharcoal Broiled Flank Steak with Quick Roasted Veggies

Total Time: 40 min.Prep15 min. Cook25 min.

Ingredients1 1/2 pound flank steak or the smallest one they'll sell you Coarse salt and cracked black pepper, garlic granules (I like fresh garlic) 1/2 bunch broccoli, peeled, cut into florets 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets 2 cobs shucked corn, cut into 2-inch slices 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions Prepare charcoal grill. Marinate flank steak with garlic, salt and pepper. Place on broiler and cook, turning once until medium rare, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Over cooking steak will make it tough. Remove to a cutting board, slice at an angle about ½ inch thick . Have oven preheat to 475 degrees F. Toss broccoli and cauliflower with olive salt and pepper, pour onto a cookie sheet in a single layer. Roast, turning once, until tender and cooked through, about 10 to 12 minutes. Butter, parsley boiled potatoes go well with this dish.

A Tiny Voice

A small child sitting in a church pew raised her innocent voice in the midst of the church service and sang, “Jesus loves me, this I know for the Bible tells me so, yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus love me, the Bible tells me so, and the church was silent. The Pastor was speaking on taking the message; Christ has Risen, into the world and speaking out for our faith. He cited Peter and John boldly speaking after the lame man was healed in the name of Jesus. The Council commanded Peter and John not to talk about Jesus anymore. They wanted them to compromise, it is all right to do good, but don’t talk about the resurrected Jesus. The disciples could not help but talk about all they had heard and experienced. Peter and John could not be quiet and neither could the small child in church that had heard the Pastor say, “Jesus loves you.” The church remained quiet as the child finished her original version of the song, unaware of anyone around her. The Pastor shook his head in agreement and said, “I am done.” It was a special moment to me. Perhaps the Holy Spirit was letting us know that we should be like children, and as the sweet voice sang out to several hundred people, we were reminded to be a voice to a needy world.

Mark 10: 15&16 Verily I say unto you. Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And He took them up in His arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
