Free time activities in my school

We have lots of free time activities in my school & everyone can

participate!

• In this activity we take beautiful photos.• Competitions often have a theme.• We take photos & choose the best one.• We are really good & we have lots of

talented students.• Leader of this activity is teacher Tatjana Bednajić

PHOTOGRAPHERS

DRAMA CLUB• We act out lots of plays. • They are sometimes funny but they are often

sad & they make you think. • Our actors take this free time activity very

seriously.• We get good resoults at competitions.• One of the competitions is called „LIDRANO”• Leader of the activity is teacher Željka Šunjić

SCIENCE CLUB• We observe things under a microscope, we

make interesting banners and posters about living things & nature.

• We don’t really have contests but we still enjoy it because we learn something new every single day.

LANGUAGE CLUB• We learn advanced phrases, learn how to read

& speak languages.• We learn grammar & definitions• We have English, German & Czech language

club• Leaders of these activities are: Teacher Martina Supančić, teacher Petra Turković, teacher Suzana Ivanček, (English) teacher Doris Banušić, teacher

Kornelija Pinter (German) & teacher Martina Kolaček-Novosel (Czech)

CHOIR• We sing beautiful songs & we perform in front

of a big audience.• We perform in our school, during special

occations or in our Home of Culture. • Leader of this activity is: teacher Danica Barišić

• HOME OF CULTURE

SPORTS (ŠŠD) OR (SSS)• We train lots of sports in ŠŠD (Školsko sportsko

društvo) or in SSS (Schools Sport Society) • We train soccer, basketball, handball,

volleyball & badminton.• Leaders of this activity: teacher Saša Čurčić & teacher Dejana Bajsić

MATHS CLUB• We have advanced math classes with our

teacher. • We also solve equations & work out anything

we aren’t sure about.• Leaders of this activity are: teacher Jela Galunić, teacher Đuro Tumara, teacher Marijanka Kapac

GEOGRAPHERS• This is an extracurricular class in the field of

geography. • We have it twice a week.• We have contests & we get really good

resoults.• Leader if this activity: teacMr Jonatan Car

RECITERS• In this activity we learn poems by heart & we

recite them in competitions. • It’s hard but we also have talented students.• Leaders of this activity: teacher Sanela Degres & Anita Unger

IT• About 60% of our school takes this class• We learn how to work with computers &

programs.• I attend this class & that’s why I know how to

make a PowerPoint presentation • We get grades in this activity.• Leader of this activity: teacher Goran Jarčov

HISTORIANS• Our history teachers are the leaders of this

activity. • We make posters. We also visited some

important places in our town that are relevant to our town’s history.

ARTS & CRAFTS CLUB• We make lots of great decorations.• For Christmas we made tree decorations &

angels.• It’s really hard but it pays off because the

resoult is wonderful. It is very creative.• Leaders of this activity: teacher Jasenka Aušperger, teacher Ana Savić & teacher Kristina Nemčević

CHESS CLUB• We learn how to play chees.• We have it once a week.• We don’t have contests but we are good! • Leader of this activity: teacher Saša Čurčić

ART CLUB• We draw, paint, cut out, glue on & have lots of

fun in this free time activity.• Leader of this activity: teacher Antun Ibriks

RHYTHMICS• We dance to high energy songs. • We sometimes even make our own

choreography.• It’s really fun, but you really have to be

talented to do it.• Leader of this activity: Teacher Anita Unger
