BONINIWINAMAC, IN - FORMERLY OFCROWN POINT, IN - Margaret L., 93,and Leedio J. Bonini, 97, died twelvehours apart from one another at thePulaski County Health Care Center,Winamac, Indiana. Margaret died at6:40pm, Friday, June 7, 2019 andLeedio died at 6:40am, Saturday, June8, 2019. The couple was married onMay 8, 1948 and recently celebrated71 years of marriage. Margaret wasborn March 12, 1926, in Gary, Indiana,to the late Claire and Margaret (Evans)Niles. She graduated from MerrillvilleHigh School and was a proud home-maker, talented seamstress and quil-ter. She is survived by one brother,William. She was preceded in death byone brother, Raymond.Leedio was born on October 8, 1921,
in Houghton, Michigan and was thelast surviving child of the late Baldoand Mary Bonini who had eleven chil-dren.
Leedio was a veteran of the USArmy, having served during WWII andwas a member of the Crown PointAmerican Legion. He spent most of hislife in Crown Point, delivering milk andother items to many homes in the area.
No services will be held. Memorialcontributions may be given to thePulaski Health Care Center.

Viola loved her church, her friendsand her family.
She is survived by two sons: Charles(Betty) Rowe and Ronald Rowe, bothof Sevierville, six grandchildren, threegreat grandchildren, two great greatgrandchildren, two brothers: Clyde(Gracie) Rudd and Alford (Sheila)Rudd and one sister, Jewell Arnett.She was preceded in death by her hus-band, Aaron Rowe (October 13, 1983),one grandson, Michael Rowe, threebrothers: Marshall, Marvin and WilliamRudd and two sisters: Catherine RuddHoward and Phyllis Rudd Kain.
Friends will be received from 4-8pm,Sunday, June 16, at Braman & BaileyFuneral Home. Services will be held,Monday, June 17, at 11am, at thefuneral home, with Rev. Rodney Ruddofficiating. Burial was in the HighlandCemetery, North Judson.

LaCROSSE, IN - Betty Ann Hefner, 91,died Monday, June 10, 2019. She wasborn March 17, 1928, in Kouts,Indiana, to the late Paul and Esther(Anderson) Kraker. On October 26,1947, in Kouts, she married Don R.Hefner. He died in 2017.
Betty was a 1946 graduate of KoutsHigh School and was a member of theLaCrosse United Methodist Church.She enjoyed cross stitch, puzzles, gar-dening and most of all, spending timewith her family.
She is survived by her children: Keith(Ronda) Hefner, Donna (Jim) Smithand Darla (Jon) Rothenberger, sevengrandchildren, eleven great grandchil-dren and one sister, Evelyn (Charles)Moya. She was preceded in death byone daughter, Darlene Koontz and sib-lings: Helen Gesse, Wilma Ailes, LoisKasch, Kenneth Kraker and RobertKraker.
Services were held Friday, June 14,at the LaCrosse United MethodistChurch. Burial was in the GracelandCemetery, Kouts. Memorials may begiven to the LaCrosse UnitedMethodist Church or the VNA Hospiceof NWI.

She is survived by her husband,Terry, one son, Lincoln Caudill of NorthJudson, three step sons: Tyler Caudilland Brayton Caudill, both of Westville,Indiana and Mason Caudill of NorthJudson, one granddaughter, her par-ents, Paul and Theresa Dolezal of SanPierre, Indiana, one brother, Scott(Amy) Andrews of Monticello, Indianaand one sister, Heather (SonnyRitchie) Dolezal of San Pierre. Shewas preceded in death by one sister,Melissa Krueger.

KNOX, IN - Ronald Samuel Lemon,80, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at hishome after a lenghty battle from a fallthat left him paralyzed nearly threeyears ago. He was born July 2, 1928,in East Chicago, Indiana, to the lateSamuel and Helen (Montgomery)Lemon.Ron was a 1956 graduate of East
Chicago Roosevelt, where he playedfootball for legendary coach PeteRucinski and was part of two state foot-ball championships as well as beingPresident of the whole student body.He graduated from Simpson College inIndianola, Iowa with a degree inPsychology and was a three yearstarter on the football team and captainhis senior year. He later earned aMaster’s Degree from ValparaisoUniversity. He was head football coachin Schleswig, Iowa, where he wasnamed Class A Coach of the Yeartwice. He then coached the MichiganCity Rogers Raiders, Michigan City,Indiana, from 1973 thru 1995. Ronworked very hard to get nearly 200 ofhis players college scholarships andwas part of the committee for thedesign of the new Ames Field. He hadalso been assistant wrestling coach,track coach and Assistant AthleticDirector at Rogers. After his retirementhe worked at Lowe’s, Bethlehem Steel,Knox High School and CambeAutomotive. He enjoyed spending timewatching his 12 grandchildren partici-pate in various activities.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea,five sons: Thomas (Jean) of Gaylord,Michigan, Terence (Karen) ofStevensville, Michigan, Daniel (Julie)of Michigan City, Samuel (Kim) ofPorter, Indiana and Timothy (Ashley) ofKnox, Indiana, twelve grandchildren,one brother, Randall (Linda) Lemon ofJeffersonville, Indiana and one sister,Virginia Sainato of Valparaiso.
A private family Celebration of LifeMass and burial will take place at alater date.

She was preceded indeath by her daughter, Connie Joseph.
Services were held Tuesday, June 18,at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burialwas in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, threedaughters: Mary Louise Minix of Texas,Lisa Ann Cordial of Kendallville andPamela Bradley, of North Judson,Indiana, five grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren, five sisters: Reulah(Boots) Redlin, Janice Geller andVonda Reed, all of Knox and DonnaKay Sowards and Diane Vires, both ofNorth Judson and one brother, GaryMinix of Denham, Indiana. He was pre-ceded in death by four sisters.
Services will be held Wednesday,June 19, at 2pm CDT, at RannellsFuneral Home with visitation from 12Noon to time of services. In lieu of flow-ers, memorial contributions may begiven to the family.

Margaret was a homemak-er, farm wife and Longaberger Basketrepresentative. She enjoyed music,singing, the sound of the waves on theGulf of Mexico and spending time withher family and friends.
She is survived by two sons: KennethC. (Terri) Anliker of Chalmers andKurtis J. (Stephanie) Anliker of SantaRosa Beach, three grandchildren andtwo great grandchildren. She was pre-ceded in death by one daughter,Kathryn Anliker and twelve siblings.
Visitation from 3-8 EDT, Thursday,June 20, at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel and one hour prior toservices on Friday.
