Titans changed their team uniforms..look wonderful..good job Amy for helping pick those designs. We have a new trampoline park coming to Hendersonville. Even more sports space at the huge Wilson County Fairgrounds, and of course all of Portland will turn red with the great Strawberry Fes-tival..from the Strawberry Stroll that Tommy Whittaker says he has wrapped up...lol....booths with all kinds of goodies..of course concerts..games and the big Strawberry Festival Beauty Contest and parade. In August, Gallatin is hosting a wonderful musical entertainment venue..with food, games, and fun. It takes place on Lock Ford Road and park. Hendersonville ace, Hayden Mullins, commits to Auburn in baseball. Cumberland soccer, softball, and baseball in full swing in Lebanon. Vol State softball and baseball playing in their park. No charge to check out the games. Gallatin High still very young still battling in baseball. Portland catching up on bailouts..Pope John Paul, Hendersonville, and Beech not so hard hit by weather. Station Camp and Allen County tried to catch up. Franklin Simpson still hit with injury bug, but have tons of talent. Macon County, Westmoreland, and Trousdale County fighting rain..snow. Wil-son County with Lebanon loaded. Mt Juliet always tough. Friendship Academy looking good. Wilson Central young like Gallatin. The growing White House area has the Blue Devils and Heritage playing good completion. Gallatin has had to travel, but watch out as Miles Wan-strath and teammates get some playing time in..could be very good. I understand that good friend of Jerry Vradenverg and others, former coach Boots Scott is fighting to get healthy. Had a call from Burp White, a coaching and playing buddy from Madison telling me Tommy Head, brother of the late Lady Vol legend Pat Summit, is coming to Sumner county for some golf. Tommy was a star at Cumberland in Lebanon in two sports and then played Sunday afternoon baseball with me before Uncle Sam thought he needed me. Don’t know how many of you know that young Miles Wanstrath’s grandfather played at Austin Peay with one of the greatest, Fly Williams. Saw many friends and great athletics at the services for Barbara Holcomb in Gallatin. Wonder how many softball, football, baseball games Barbara enjoyed in her life? You all know the Masters Golf Classic is a real battle. While serving in the army got to see the beautiful course. Too many coaching changes to mention. I might you leave you with the news that big money people want to start another pro football league and Steve Spurrier says if it happens he is there.
