FREE GAMES TO PLAY ON PLAYSTATION 4 By Maya Mayfield 25th July 2013 We covered an article recently on the benefits of PS Plus subscriptions, and today we can reveal the first nine games you will be able to play for free with your new PS4. 1) Warframe Warframe is a fast co-operative third person shooter. It has 11 missions for you and your buddies to battle through. The game is expected on the PS4 early 2014 2) Planetside 2 Planetside 2 is a huge multiplayer campaign, with battles between hundred and thousands of players on land and air. It is a much quicker game than the original, released over ten years ago. There are tons of player customisations, with weapons and skill points to gain. It is coming to the PS4 around late 2013/early 2014. 3) DC Universe Online DC Universe Online is a comic book fantasy game, based on all your favourite DC characters, like Batman and Robin. Expected to land on the PS4 in 2014 for free. It’s an MMORPG giving you the opportunity to play as the hero or villain. Once you create your avatar, you are free to roam the city of Gotham and Metropolis, saving damsels in distress or causing havoc for the good guys. 4) War Thunder War Thunder is a flight simulation game coming to the Playstation 4 as a free to play multiplayer game. The environment is massive, and it features a ton of authentic aeroplanes and battlefields designed very closely to specific conflicts in the past. It is due on PS4 later in 2013. 5) Blacklight Retribution Blacklight Retributrion is first person shooter, that's free to play. It's set in a science fiction world and follows closely to the typical genre's of shooters we have all become accustomed to. It does have some very unique features like the HRV – High Reality Visor – this allows you to temporarily spot mines and see weak locations in walls. The game looks awesome coming to the PS4 late 2013/early 2014. 6) DriveClub From the E3 demo we saw, Driveclub is going to be one of the big games coming to the PS4. So it was surprising to find out that the developers are planning on giving this away for free on PS Plus. Evolution Studios have said, the free beta version coming to the PS Plus will be just like the paid version minus a few extra cars and tracks. DriveClub will be released on PS4's launch day. 7) Don’t Starve Klei Entertainment are giving away this fantastic game for Free. It's all about survival at all cost. You must defend against starvation, and Alien attack. You will be able to use tools provided to increase you chances of survival, gaining experience points the longer you stay alive. Don't Starve doesn't have a release date as yet, but stay tuned and we will update you as and when we find out. 8) Outlast Outlast is a first person horror game set in an asylum. You will play the role of a journalist sent to investigate the mental facility. Something terrible has happened and you need to discover why.
