Startpunkt ist das Free Motion Center. Die Fahrt durch das grüne Schilftal von Ayagaures bis zum Stausee bereitet optimal auf den folgenden knackigen Offroad-Anstieg zum Adlerpass vor. Hier lässt der fantastische Ausblick in die Bergwelt und auf das Meer alle Anstrengung ver-gessen. Der anschließende Downhill durch den Barranco de Fataga lässt jedes Bikerherz höher schlagen – nicht umsonst wird dieses Tal auch Grand Canyon genannt!

From Free Motion this tour roughs it all the way through the reservoir and the green reed valley of Ayagaures to the high point of Eagle pass where the incredible views of the sea and mountains leave you breathless. The group finishes off by racing downhill on twisting slopes toward Barranco de Fataga also known as the “Grand Canyon” of Gran Canaria. Nothing can compare!

Wir starten kurz hinter San Bartolomé und fahren nach einem kurzen Anstieg direkt in die „Caldera de Tirajana“. Dort passieren wir den „Risco Blanco“, einen heiligen Felsen, und biken im Anschluss in ständigem Auf und Ab durch kleine kanarische Dörfer mit herrlichem Blick auf Santa Lucia. Nach einer gemütlichen Rast an einer Palmen-oase geht es in Richtung Küste weiter, vorbei an zahllo-sen Tomatenplantagen, und zurück nach Playa del Inglés.

Starting behind San Bartolomé we ride past an ancient volcanic crater known as Caldera de Tirajana. The trail takes us to Risco Blanco, a sacred cliff, and bike steadily up and down through charming Canarian villages with beautiful views at Santa Lucia. After a rest at a cozy palm oasis, we finally heading back toward the coast and Playa del Inglés.

Diese landschaftlich sehr reizvolle Tour eignet sich so-wohl für Einsteiger als auch als „Warm-up“-Tour für bereits erfahrenere Biker. Nach einem Fahrtechnik-training in traumhafter Kulisse führt uns der Weg zum Chira-Stausee. Der folgende Anstieg auf Schotterpisten wird durch den herrlichen Blick in das Nachbartal, den „Barranco de Soria“ absolut entlohnt. Für Abkühlung und garantierten Fahrspaß sorgt die anschließende abwechs-lungsreiche Abfahrt.

This tour is great for first-timers or anyone who wants to refresh their skills. After a crash course in riding tech-nique, handling and safety the group hits the ground riding toward Chira Reservoir then rides up toward the neighbouring valley of Barranco de Soria. With the land-scape shooting past the dirt roads, slopes and curves any level mountain biker will love the adventure and in-credible views.

soria veneguera Level 52 km · 920 1560 · 9:00 -16:30 h * soria venegueraVon Soria fahren wir über eine Schotterstraße hinauf an den südlichen Rand des Nationalparks. Der folgende knackige Anstieg wird durch einen herrlichen Trail sowie der Abfahrt auf einer der schönsten Panoramastraßen Richtung Mogán belohnt. Weiter bergan fahren wir Rich-tung San Nicolás, um anschließend die lange Abfahrt zum einsamen Strand von Veneguera zu genießen. Nach kurzer Pause geht es in stetigem Auf und Ab bis Puerto de Mogán, dem „Venedig Gran Canarias“ – der fantasti-sche Blick aufs Meer entlohnt jegliche Anstrengung!

From Soria the tour goes over rough terrain and south to the border of the National Park. Then first hard climb for the tour is up a panoramic trail toward Mogán. Later the trail heads toward San Nicolás and finally windes down the long road to the beach of Veneguera. After a short break the tour continues up and down on a hilly routes to Puerto de Mogán, the small „Venice“ of Gran Canaria with unbelievable views of the sea after a hard ride.
