Fred has been a member of the Royal Academy for over forty years and throughout this time he has continued to exhibit his mastery - in particular his atmospheric and sublime painting of coastal landscapes, often around his home near Rye in Sussex.

This exhibition of recent work by the octogenarian artist coincides with the launch of the new book about his life and work: ‘Another Figure in the Landscape’ - publisher Unicorn Press.

This group of works as a whole encompass all of the hallmark themes for which the artist has come to be recognised - coastal landscapes, still-life and rural scenes

It is once again a privilege to be hosting a show of works by Fred.
