WHY TRAVEL WITH FRASER EXPLORER TOURS?The natural diversity of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island makes it a must-see on any east coast itinerary.

This is a place where rainforest grows completely in sand, where giant sand blows swallow ancient forests, where dingoes and native animals roam free, and where fresh water lakes perch high in golden dunes.

Let us take you on your Great Sandy adventure; after all, we’ve been operating tours for more than 20 years on Fraser Island. Once off-road, our friendly guides expertly manage tides and terrain and they’re passionate about sharing their local knowledge. Plus, our air-conditioned four-wheel-drive buses are custom-designed to handle the conditions and make your trip as comfortable as possible. Multi-lingual MP3 players available.

We offer a range of all-inclusive, affordable tours that include transfers from your mainland accommodation, ferry transfers, touring, national park fees and lunches. Overnight tours allow you the luxury of waking in World Heritage wilderness.

But don’t take our word for it, Trip Advisor has just given us a Cerificate of Excellence for the fourth year running.

Want to see the highlights, but short on time? Try the Fraser Explorer Day TourDaily Departures: Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach

Let us know where you’re staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach and we will arrange a transfer from your accommodation provider and your ferry ride across the Great Sandy Strait to Fraser Island.

Once on island, we’ll take to the sand tracks and visit all of the ‘must-see’ destinations including the historical heart of the island at Central Station and the rainforest boardwalk at Wanggoolba Creek. We’ll drive along the famous 75-Mile Beach to visit the SS Maheno shipwreck and Eli Creek before a relaxing swim in the crystal-clear waters of our

two days' worth of Amazing value - Upgrade to a Fraser Explorer 2 Day TourDaily Departures: Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach

One day is never enough on Fraser Island, so we’ve developed a two-day tour that allows you to wake on island, enjoy our spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and explore much more of Fraser.

Like the day tours, we’ll arrange ferry and accommodation transfers for you. On your first day off-roading, you’ll explore the island’s central wilderness stopping at Lake McKenzie for a swim in crystal-clear waters and a stroll through Central Station and along the banks of Wanggoolba Creek.

You’ll then head out to 75-Mile Beach for a hike over Hammerstone Sand Blow for a swim in our emerald-green oasis, Lake Wabby.

Day 2: Wake at Eurong Beach and head north to Indian Head for spectacular island views and on to the Champagne Pools – a natural ocean jacuzzi. There’s plenty of time for photo stops at the Maheno shipwreck and The Pinnacles Coloured Sands and for a swim at Eli Creek. This tour also includes overnight accommodation, buffet dinner, breakfast and lunches.
