Enchanted Halloween Party Presented by Fairytale Birthday Company

(All Ages)—Monday, October 26 at 11:00am

Halloween is almost here! The fairytale Royals and some villainous friends invite you for a virtual adventure full of treats and maybe a few tricks. Storytime, sing-alongs, and a wickedly cute craft await you on

this spooktacular day.

Craft supplies will be available in the library the week before the program (while supplies last). Video will be posted on our website and Facebook page.

A Very Merry Ball

Grab a cup of hot chocolate and join the royals for virtual winter holiday fun. Everyone's favorite snow sisters and

friends will sing, share stories, songs, and even how they celebrate this most wonderful time of the year!

The Great Pumpkin Contest

Show off your pumpkin skills! Decorate OR carve a pumpkin and enter it to win a prize in one of two categories. The decorated category is for any

decoration that isn't carving: painting, drawing, etc. The carving category is carving only. You can enter ONE pumpkin.

Take a picture of your submission and email it to Franklin.Children@mcfls.org with name, age/grade/adult, and phone number. Submissions will be accepted

from October 1– 22 with online voting from October 23—29! Winners will be announced on October 30!

FPL Community Library Card Scavenger Hunt ( October 1-31)

Get out and explore the city of Franklin! Discover new places and enjoy

the many great things Franklin has to offer.

How does it work?

There will be Franklin Public Library “library card” signs at spots around

Franklin. A scavenger hunt sheet with clues for each sign’s

whereabouts will be printed in the city newsletter at the end of

September and be available on the library website and Facebook page

beginning October 1. Follow the clues to locate all of the “library

cards” around the city. Once you have located all the “cards” and filled

out your scavenger hunt sheet, come to the library to submit your sheet

for a chance to win prizes. Forms must be submitted by November 1 for

a chance to win a prize.

Rise 'n Shine Storytime (Ages 5 & Under)

Wednesdays at 10:30am on Facebook Live!

Stay in your pajamas and enjoy a Rise 'n Shine Storytime! This

virtual program includes stories, songs, and other early literacy

activities for you and your child.

home. The bag includes:

Storytime BINGO Card to complete and return!

Egg Shaker and Scarf for music and movement!

Pair this kit with any books your child enjoys to create a fun

storytime in your own home!

Small Fry Drive-Up (Ages 5 & Under)

Turn movie night at home into a

Drive-in Movie Theater! Pick-up a cardboard box and craft supplies
