Francois is a superb Geologist and has decades of experience of the Western Canadian Basin.

He has been at the forefront of leading the industry in exploration and new ventures. His

discoveries in the Horn River and other plays have earned his employers’ huge business

advantages. He is a very strong team player and has always helped peers and juniors alike in

finding solutions to their problems as well as in the development of their careers through advise,

education, direction and motivation. I have had the pleasure of knowing Francois for almost a

decade now, and have been fortunate to have worked with him in several areas including

exploration, technical papers, presentations and training. I find that his biggest asset is his

ability to think beyond the common and conventional wisdom and that is the hallmark of a true

explorationist. I have also found him very self-motivated, always ready to come up with a

solution to any challenge he was thrown. I think his work ethics are exemplary, his service to the

petroleum industry of Canada, second to none, and his technical acumen is just awesome.
