The LF 57 SMG is a b lowback operated weapon in 9 mm X 19 NATO caliber. Theframe, obtained from st amped steel sheet, is locked at the rear side b y a sliding plate, supporting the foldable metallic stock.The LF 57 can fire either se mi automatic or full automatic b y si mpl y changing theposit ion of the pu sh button selector. Fig 1-A)The weight of t he breech block extension, wich slides on the barrel, prevent s muzzlejumping when firing.Ther efor e the weapon shoots ve ry close patterns also during prolonged burst s.The weapo n s consistent rate of fire is also remarkable as it increases the precisionand avoids any waste of ammunition.The LF 57 SMG can also be supp lied for full automatic fire only.

Se trata de un arma de canon fijo, qu e funciona por acci6n directa de lo s gases sobreel mecani smo de cierre y percu si6n. El cuerpo e sta constituido por dos cascos dechapa estampada y esta cerrado en su parte tra sera por una chapa de slizante .El arma puede disparar lo mismo rafagas que un tiro solo. La se lecc i6n del tipo de tiro se efectua mo viendo el boton sele ctor que cru za la empunadura fig. 1A).Gracia s al peso de la prolungaci6n del bloque del cierre, que se de sliza sobre el canondurante el disparo, el encabritamiento queda comp letam ente anulado, por cuyo motivo el arma permite, aun disparando rafagas mu y prolongada s una concentraci6nde tiros exacta.Ha y que anadir , adema s la ventaja de la coherente cadencia de disparo s que permite una precision mayor con menor gasto de municione s ademas de un control excelente de la rafaga, y por tanto la posibilidad de disparar una s ser ies de tiros tam bienmuy breves.Si asi se pide, el arma puede ser con st ruida solo para el funcionamiento de rafagas,sin el mecani smo de tiro individual.

The LF 57 SMG is equipped with aspecial grip safety lever (Fig . 1-Bwich prevents accidental firing in casethe gun is dropped, knocked downhard, etc.The safety is automatically disengaged by properly tightly holding thegrip. When is on, the gun cannot fire

under any condition, thus assuringextreme safety.

SEGURO

Es automatico y Ia palanca de mandoesta situata en Ia parte delantera de Iaempunadura de pistola (Fig. B).Para que el arma dispare es precisoque Ia palanca de mando del seguroeste apre tada antes que el gatillo. Estesiste ma es muy sencillo y absolutamente seguro, e impide que puedanproducirse disparos si el arma recibe

golpes de cualquier fuerza.

FEEDING DEVICE

A 30 rounds box magazine, wich isintroduced into the port at the bottom of the frame. (Fig. 2

LIMENT CION

Se efectua por mediaci6n de un cargador de treinta cartuchos, que se introduce desde abajo en Ia boca situada debajo del armaz6n (fig. 2).



FIELD STRIPPING

a) Extend the stock and while pulling back the slidingplate button take off upward the rear plate-stock assembly. (Fig. 4)

b) Press forward with a finger the recoil spring guide, rotate it a quart of a turn and let it slide back . (Fig. 5)

c) Withdraw the breechblock from rear opening. (Fig. 6)d) Pull back the cocking handle unscrew and take off

the barrel. (Fig. 7)e) Remove the cocking handle and its spring simply by

pulling off the handle . (Fig. 8)To riassemble the weapon follow the same steps in theopposite order. To introduce the breechblock into theframe pull the trigger and grip safety lever simultaneously.

DESMONT JE Y MONT JE

a) Abrir Ia culata piegable apretando el boton estriadode Ia chapa trasera y mover hacia arriba Ia culatamisma . (Fig. 4)

b) Apretar hacia adelante el guia resorte de retroceso;hacerlo girar de un cuarto de vuelta y dejarlo retroceder (Fig. 5), sacar luego el guia y el resorte .

c Sacar el mecanismo de percusi6n por Ia abertura tr asera del armaz6n. (Fig . 6)

d) Hacer retroceder parcialmente Ia maneta de armamento desenroscar y sacar el canon . (Fig. 7)

e) Sacar Ia maneta de armamento con su resorte arran -candola hacia el exterior. (Fig. 8)

Para vo lver a montar el arma repetir las operaciones arriba indicadas en sentido contrario teniendo en cuentaque para introducir el mecanismo de percusi6n en el armaz6n hace falta apretar a mismo tiempo el gatillo y leva de seguro.
