Check-in to your centrally located Parisian hotel. See the Arc de Triomphe & visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Stroll on the Champs-Elysées. Have dinner in the famous Quartier St. Germain des Pres. Transfer back to the hotel. DAY 3: VERSAILLES Travel by RER train to Chateau Versailles, the extravagant Palace built for the Sun King. Visit the opulent Grand Apartments, view the Opera and Royal Bedroom. Discover the elegantly landscaped Park. Make your way out to Le Hameau de la Reine. Return to Paris. Go to Montmartre, la Butte, as it is known locally. Dinner on la Butte Montmartre. DAY 4: PARIS Discover the Musée du Louvre and see some of the most cherished pieces of art such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Admire the view from the 3rd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Cruise the River Seine on a bateau mouche. Visit la Boulangerie du Grand Richelieu to see how they make French Croissants Free time to explore Paris at your own pace; why not spend some time in the Quartier du Marais or le Quartier de l’Opéra? Dinner and night accommodation. DAY 5: PARIS / BORDEAUX Transfer by bus to the train station to board your TGV train to Bordeaux. Transfer by bus to your hotel for check-in. Meet your local guide to discover the historic port of Bordeaux on a walking tour inclu- ding the Aquitaine Bridge, a unique architectural achievement in France. Have some free time exploring St. Catherine Street in the pedestrian center. Enjoy dinner at the Cassolette Café for a taste of “French Tapas”! Walk back to your hotel.

DAY 6: ST EMILION

• Stop at one of the region’s many vineyards and see why Bordeaux is considered to be one of the best for wine making - wine has been produced in the region since the 8th century.

• Discover Saint Emilion, a listed UNESCO “World Heritage Site” - Much of St Emilion is hidden from view, deep underground in a labyrinth of passages and rooms.

• Join your local guide on a walking tour that includes the catacombs, the buried part of the church, and the grotte where Emilion lived in the 8th century.

• Visit the underground pottery museum, located in a 12th century quarry and with pot-tery spanning the period from Roman times to today.

• Learn about the fine art of glass blowing with a demonstration at a local glass workshop.• Check in to your hotel - Chateau de Roques, a 17th century mansion, each of the 17

rooms is unique!• Dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 7: LASCAUX / SARLAT

• Today’s adventure will highlight some of the sites of the Perigord (Dordogne) region.• See a replica of the world famous cave paintings of Lascaux which were discovered by

accident in 1940 by a young man looking for his dog.• Stop at a local farm to learn about the production of Goats Cheese.• Later in the day arrive in Sarlat la Caneda, a medieval town that was developed around

a large Benedictine abbey.• Check-in to your hotel and then have some time to explore Vieux Sarlat on your own.• Enjoy a typical “Perigourdin” dinner.• Walk back to your hotel.

DAY 8: LA ROQUE GAGEAC / ROCAMADOUR / PARIS

• Continue your visit of this virtually untouched region of Europe.• Take a stroll through the breathtaking villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac, Dor-

dogne’s hidden treasures.• Return to Bordeaux to catch a TGV train to Paris.• Farewell dinner in Paris and night accommodation.

DAY 9: RETURN HOME

• After an incredible adventure, say a fond “Au Revoir” to your Forum Tour Manager and transfer to the airport for your return flight back home.
