Abstracts may be prepared on the symposium themes. Abstracts should be written in English,

limited to 400 words of plain text excluding the title, without any diagrams, charts or footnotes.

The purpose of the study, principal results, and major conclusions must be highlighted in the

abstract.

All abstract submission will be through an online system. Abstracts sent via email or post will

not be accepted. The abstract submission system will close on January 31, 2012. The details of

Sightseeing Programmes and Tours

Pre- and Post-Conference Tours

Various categories of rooms will be secured at a variety of hotels in New Delhi with

special pre-negotiated rates. As there is a heavy demand for hotel rooms in the city in

November, participants are advised to book their hotel accommodation at the earliest to

ensure confirmation at the preferred hotel. Details will be available on the conference

Local Sightseeing Programmes

To experience the colour and history of Delhi, custom-designed sightseeing tours are

planned for visiting the Qutab Minar, Humayun’s tomb (said to be the precursor to the

famed Taj Mahal), Rashtrapathi Bhawan (the residence of the President of India), Jama

Masjid (India’s largest mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan), the Red Fort

and Rajghat – Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. Shopping tours will also be available at

Delhi’s premier bazaars and emporia.
