LOQTEQ®, the new plating system of aap Implante AG, offers a comprehensive portfolio of

anatomically preformed locking plates for a professional and efficient fracture management.

The LOQTEQ® system has been in clinical use since 2011 and has been used for more than

30,000 surgical procedures in 30 countries.

LOQTEQ® stands for Locking AND Compression Technology, which combines the principles of

bridging plate osteosynthesis and angle-stable interfragmentary compression with one screw,

in one plate hole, in one surgical step.

LOQTEQ® plates and screws are designed and manufactured exclusively in Berlin, Germany and

stand for high quality “Made in Germany”.

The LOQTEQ® proprietary technology is a result of many years of intensive Research &

Development.

LOQTEQ® screws feature a unique combination of a cone and a thread,

which allows for stable plate-screw connection, and helps to prevent

cold-welding for easy explantation of the implants.

LOQTEQ® plates have been designed for improved anatomical fit to the

bone, high degree of mechanical stability and feature a highly polished

surface to prevent soft-tissue ingrowth.

As a result of building on the excellent clinical outcomes of earlier designs,

the LOQTEQ® anatomical plating system offers advanced solutions for

trauma surgery.

This booklet presents a selection of clinical cases with aap´s LOQTEQ®

anatomical plating system across different hospitals and countries.
