FPL Use of Right-of-Way

September 10, 2013 – LWDD received a permit

application from FPL for pole replacements on the

west side of E-3 Canal from L-5 to north of Gun

Club Road

LWDD cleared the E-3 Canal Right-of-Way so that

FPL can relocate the poles

FPL submitted a request to relocate the existing

poles to the west 5’ of the E-3 Canal Right-of-Way

LWDD and FPL staff have been working together

and reached an agreement to benefit both parties

Staff Recommendation

To issue a permit to FPL for the relocation of

utility poles within the west 5’ of the E-3 Canal

Right-of-Way

Subject to:

• LWDD Operating Policies

• Permit Fee

• 12 poles x $1,200.00 = $14,400.00

• Waiver of $20.00 per Linear Ft.
