It did not take long to bring about the identification ; of the man whose body was found at the comer of Essex

and Polifly Road, Hackensack, early Saturday mom4 mg, thanks to a tailor's mark on the clothes and the finger- prints taken by Police Sergeant William Mens, of the Ipckensack police department.| The tailors address was given as Astoria, L. I., and «be fingerprints were hurried along to the police of that dty. By midnight detectives reached here from Long ■land with photograhps of the victim, who had been shot mree times in the head by gangsters.

The dead man was an ex-convict, who last March n o t and killed a man and a woman in Long Island. He y d hrm sought since that time by the police and by Mends of the couple he murdered; the latter got him first md wreaked their vengeance in their own way.

In view of the fact that the murder on Saturday was j w bdMa committeed in Bergen county, Prosecutor Hart's ■fee will endeavor to find the gangsters who killed this Xtn, a task that is quite near the impossible.

Pumping of their dead by gangsters in this county] I frfcnmtftg monotonous and disagreeable, but therel

TjMectricity by its contribution ^ MLà to economy and efficiency in

production has assisted in creating for New Jersey its reputation as a great industrial center, and, too, along the wide stretches of the State's northern water front, it is at work in many ways, in the development of the New Jersey section of the great Port of New York.

At the Lehigh Valley Railroad dock at Jersey Q ty,an electric crane is used to unload iron ore shipped from the Argentine. Its unloading bucket handle« fifteen tons at a lift and working with a smaller crane, it can unload a 20,000-ton ore boat in approximately twenty-four hours. .. .

Where power is required for any operation-—in the home or factory— electricity provides it in its most efficient and adaptable form.
