This has reference to Letter received from the office of the

chief Accounts Officer, Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Letter No.

Accounts/196/2009 dated 6-5-2009 to send the report on the

proposal of the Department of Physics, Saurashtra University,

Rajkot regarding the charges for availing the experimental

facilities in the Department.

The meeting was held in the office of the Head, Department of

Chemistry, Saurashtra University, Rajkot at 4.00 p.m. on 20-7-

2009.

The Department of Physics, Saurashtra University, Rajkot

has developed various sophisticated analysis facilities which are

extremely useful to the researchers working in the field of Physics,

Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Bio-sciences and industries.

These experimental facilities will be made available to the

researchers on the payment basis with following charges :

2. The separate account "User facility, Head, Department of

Physics, Saurashtra University, Rajkot" will be opened in the

Central Bank of India, Saurashtra University Campus Branch,

Professor & Head will be signing authority. All the charges

will be received only by Demand draft or the local cheque

payable to the above mentioned account. Service Tax,

Education cess and postage charges will be charged to the

party.

3. A separate account book will be maintained for received testing

charges.

4. 20% of the total income should be allocated among operators

who are not permanent employees of this university. 5% of the

amount will be paid to the person who will maintain account of

the bills and outside correspondence.

5. The department will prepare details of the brochure containing

facilities available and terms and conditions for a particular

analysis.

6. The generated fund will be utilized for emergency requirement

of spares, maintenance and other requirements if necessary.

7. If generated fund is sufficient then Department may be given

freedom to create new facility or judicious use for updation of

the existing sophisticated equipments.
