Applicant must complete online application form via e-admission at www.kuis.edu.my and upload all required documents to support the application at international@kuis.edu.my. The required documents are:i. A copy of applicant’s passport (all pages including blank pages). *Recommended passport validity duration is 12 months.ii. Certified copies of academic transcripts and scrolls or any relevant academic certificates from previous university/college/school.iii. Certified copy of TOEFL/ IELTS result.iv. Applicant's photo. (JPEG) *The photo must be in white background (size 35 mm x 45 mm).v. Research proposal for PhD application.vi. Completed Pre-Arrival Medical Screening Report (Health Declaration Form).

The applicant must make the required payment to Education Malaysia Global Service (EMGS) (for Student Pass/ Visa processing) and payment to KUIS (KUIS Service Charge) upon receiving the Conditional Offer Letter.*Student Pass / Visa processing fee of RM 2000.00 (RM 2200.00 for applicants from INDONESIA only: fee is paid to EMGS (non-refunda-ble) *KUIS Service Charge fee of RM 600.00.

Upon approval by EMGS and Malaysian Immigration Department, a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) will be issued. The International Section of KUIS will send the Offer Letter and VAL via email to the applicant for further action. Single Entry Visa (SEV) with VAL refer-ence is required for selected nationalities entering Malaysia as students. Applicants from most Commonwealth countries do not need to apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV). There will be a fee imposed if student apply for a SEV. Any fee incurred will be borne by the appli-cant. Please visit the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate Office for confirmation.

Students have to arrive on the day of registration. Upon arrival at KLIA or KLIA2 airport, applicant is advised to wait inside the arrival hall. KUIS officer will meet applicant at the airport for the immigration clearance and airport pick-up.
