Diane enjoys knitting and quilting and makes afghans for babies and veterans that are donated to charities through her church.
This fall, while we are pre-testing and strategizing, she and Klaus will be taking a relaxing trip to eastern Canada.
She’ll miss teaching good nutrition and parenting skills.
She’ll miss working with a friendly and supportive staff and administration.
And, surely, she will miss students getting excited about making a really good muffin.

Joyce worked for many summers restoring the St. Helena Lighthouse, west of Mackinac Island.
Despite the really primitive camping, Joyce would like to get back into doing it again.
When Joyce first came to Annapolis, she was the Cheerleading Coach and the Synchronized Swim Team Coach.
Synchronized Swimming, originally a club, performed swim shows. Joyce worked towards its acceptance as a Varsity Sport and once it was, Joyce’s team competed all over southeastern Michigan.
Eventually, she took over the Girls’ Competitive Swim Team, keeping her in the pool eleven months a year.

She and Lou have a motor home and will be dividing their time between Texas, and traveling throughout the U.S.
Did you know… Janet was appointed by President Bush to a Nuclear Disaster Team, formed after the Chernobyl Disaster, that could respond to such events anywhere in the world.
The Team attended conferences and mock disasters, but was never sent out of the states. Janet carried an international credit card and travel papers – but surrendered them upon her retirement.
