Word Eucharist Life

Baptism of the Lord

The Spirit affirmed

the mission of Jesus

at his baptism

The Spirit affirms our vocation

as disciples of Jesus

because we have been baptized

in his name

We are called to carry out

the works of justice

in the nation where we live

The light of Christ

is now meant to shine in us

and in our acts of compassion

for those neglected or mistreated

in our midst

How often we have sung

They will know we are Christians by our love If we live up to what we have sung

then a Voice can assert

You are my beloved in whom I am well pleased The waters of our baptism

are matched by the Blood

flowing from the Cross

The Blood of Christ

is the drink he has given us

in the Eucharist

Even in our spiritual communions

we ask the grace of living with Jesus

May your passion and death be our strength and life Jesus with you by our side enough has been given

Today’s Psalm Response

The Lord will bless his people with

peace. (Psalm 29)

Community Care

Mass Volunteers

As the COVID pandemic continues to lin-ger, the extra care we take to protect our

parishioners also continues.

We are asking for people to help us sanitize

the church pews and other surfaces after each Mass to ensure that those attending

the following Mass are in a safe environ-ment. All materials and disinfectants are supplied.

We also need help be-fore Mass to screen peo-

ple as they enter the church - greet people and take their tempera-

tures (no touch ther-mometers) and dispense hand sanitizer.

If you can help, please sign up in the back of the church or on line at https://

tinyurl.com/StPComCare
