In order to read the KinderRoots books the children will need to tackle 3 things Green words means go! Stretch and Read (sound out and blend) Red words Say-Spell-Say (using letter names) Readles a picture to help with a word

Readles These are words that add context to the story. They are not green or red words. The picture is there to help the child remember the word.
