Brick Campaign
BRICK WALKWAYS
The two brick walkways at PCC give community members an opportunity to establish a “solid”
relationship with the College by purchasing one or more real bricks inscribed with their name,
company name, or in honor or memory of a loved one, friend or former classmate.
JAMES J. WOODY WALKWAY
On April 20, 2001, the Piedmont Community College Foundation announced the establishment
of the James J. Woody Walkway on the Person County campus of Piedmont Community College
to recognize the continuous service of Mr. Woody on the North Carolina State Board of
Community Colleges (1989 – present).
At this time, 580 bricks bearing the names of alumni, students, employees and friends of the
College enhance the grounds of Piedmont Community College.
A permanent map/directory in the PCC Foundation office indicates the specific placement of
each brick so individuals can locate their brick with ease.
Revenue: $600.19
Expenses: $0
CASWELL COUNTY WALKWAY
In February 2005 the Piedmont Community College Foundation announced the establishment of
the Caswell Walkway on the Caswell County campus of Piedmont Community College.
The Caswell Walkway connects Buildings K and P and has 42 engraved bricks already in place.
These bricks bear the names of alumni, students, employees and friends of the College. A
permanent map/directory will be in the Dean’s office on the Caswell Campus to indicate the
specific placement of each brick so individuals can locate their brick with ease.
