About our Institution
Asan Memorial College of Engineering and
Technology has been established in the year 2002 in
recognition of the vital need to develop competent
engineering professionals and techno-managerial personnel to
meet the growth needs of the country. The college is located
in the villages of Thandarai and Keerapakkam adjoining
Chengalpet Town, 9 Kms on Chengalpet Mahabalipuram
Highway. The College campus spread over 45 acres of land
with picturesque hills and valleys forming a backdrop provides
a pollution free ideal and healthy setting for learning and
living. The college established as a co-educational institutionis affiliated to Anna University

Engineering and Technology, such as Bachelor of Computer
Science and Engineering, Bachelor of Electronics &
Communication Engineering, Bachelor of Electrical &
Electronics Engineering, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering,
Bachelor of Electronics & Instrumentation and Bachelor of

Department of CSE
The Department of Computer Science and
Engineering is established in the year 2002. The department
shares the mission and vision of the institute to achieve
excellence through high quality and need based education
with focus on technical competence and development of
individual potential. The department is well equipped with 3
diversified laboratories. The department has organized
various Technical level symposium for inter and intra colleges.
About the Workshop
Advancements in the field of computer technology
have been rapid with innovations, beyond imagination. Our
aim is that we should be in line with the latest technology
updated with recent developments. This National Workshop is
aimed at providing knowledge on issues related with OpenSource Software Technology Open source tools, open
source projects, open source programming tools, etc.
Call for Participation
Participation is invited from research scholars,
academicians, technologist and students from research labs,
Universities and Industries.

Registration fee : 200Participants should register through email by sending the
filled in registration form and the registration fee has to be
paid on the workshop at the venue.
Note:
i.As the no.of seats is limited, the selection will be FCFS basis.Candidates registering on the last date may not getacceptance.
ii. The participants coming from beyond 300km , exempted
from fee on production of travel tickets, but need to register.
