NF-T2 is based on plastic scintillators tileswith sector of a circle segmentation

Currently two RPS are equipped: 2x SD/ 2x DD
After LS2 all four RPS will be equipped: 4x DD
By means of DD planes, (62ps/plane for 8 planes)giving an overall dt = 25 – 30 ps

1. Design of Tiles/Sectors2. Prototype building – Preproduction (2 – 4 pcs)3. Test and Characterization of components4. Mass-production of Tiles/Sectors ( 8 per plane x 4 planes x 2 arms)5. Measurement of Light yield and Mapping of its uniformity6. Integration to mechanics and Electronics7. Precommissioning for each plane8. Installation in the cavern and commissioning
8. Expected man-power contribution 1 FTE per year9. Total budget of 120 k€ (salary not included)

1. Procurement of diamond crystals2. Visual inspection and Documentation3. Outsource of Metallization for Diamond crystals4. Electrical test, mostly I-V curve measurement5. Integration to mechanics and Electronics6. High Voltage stability test in Vacuum (50 mbar)7. Test of each strip with 90Sr in Air8. Precommissioning for each plane9. Installation in the tunnel and commissioning
10. Expected man-power contribution 1 FTE per year11. Total budget of 210 k€ (salary not included)
