The article stated that 'The Center for Creative Leadership holds clear market share dominance in the area of leader- ship development. CCL's investment in R&D in leader- ship has been turned into a formidable competttive weapon.' In the category of 'Innovator,' the Center was one of the top five insmutions noted for its dedicationto applied researchand innovation. Other contenderswere the KelloggSchool at NorthwesternUniversity, the Slwn School of Management at MassachusettsInstitute of Technology, the Universlty of MichiganSchool of Business Administration, and the insmute for Management Devel- opment. Call For Papers The Center is sponsoringthe second annual Kenneth E. Clark Research Award for the best unpublishedpaper by an undergraduateor graduate student on the subject of leadership.This award is named in honor of the d i n - gulshed scholar and former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Center, who served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 198 1-1 985. The first-placeaward will Include a prize of $1,500; the author of the paper judged as honorablemention will receive $750. Deadline for submission of papers is August 31,1993.
