We are one of the largest indoor flea markets and antique stores on the Florida Panhandle.

Located just off Miracle Strip Parkway, our 13,000 square foot area provides the best antique shopping

of any Destin or Fort Walton Beach flea market.

Visit our antique mall and meet our friendly, courteous staff. Meet Us

Located in downtown Fort Walton Beach, Florida, DeFrance is a family owned business that introduces

our community to the joy and excitement of repurposing furniture, finding the perfect home décor and

discovering forgotten treasures in our 13,000 square foot store. With over 100 booths and just as many

vendors, the style throughout the store varies from booth to booth.

Since our beginning when we started simply as vendors in DeFrance, we have loved bringing new life

to formerly loved furniture. We would rescue tables, chairs, dressers, beds… you name it! In 2012 our

lifelong dream of owning our own store came true when we were given the opportunity to become

partners in our favorite store – DeFrance of course. We are now the sole owners and we are thrilled and

thankful for what we get to do every day.

We strongly feel that faith and family make up the vintage soul of DeFrance. We like to treat all our

vendors and customers as if they are a part of the family.

When it comes to design, we believe that history and nostalgia really help to create warm and inviting

spaces that people feel comfortable in. A trip to the store, and now the website, is never the same with

an ever-changing inventory of vintage and antique furniture, unique home décor and handcrafted items.

When it comes to style, it’s all about having fun and making it you!

Join us in the store to find that perfect piece you’ve been looking for or simply walk the aisles for

inspiration. Oh and don’t forget to give a warm greeting to Porsha, our much loved and pampered

Boston Terrier.

Best Regards,

Mark & Stacie Hoard

Guest Speakers

David & Pat Tye

David & Pat have been long term members of the Fort Walton Yacht Club, serving in various official & voluntary

positions. They have been instrumental in establishing organized cruising events for weekend raft-

ups and bi-annual weeklong outings know as our Flings.

They have embarked on various long distance trips to south Florida and the Bahamas. This past

year, they enjoyed a 4+ month outing to the Bahamas. Their blog at

http://bluemoonsails.blogspot.com/ documents their adventures and allows those of us stuck at home

to vicariously enjoy the adventure.

As Pat states in her blog,

“We are lucky enough to live on the Gulf Coast of Northwest Florida in Fort Walton Beach. When in

our home waters, we sail from the Fort Walton Yacht Club, a wonderful place full of great friends.

Since 2005, we have enjoyed sailing around Florida and The Bahamas. We recently changed from

our loved Caliber 33, Sanctuary to our new floating home, Blue Moon a Pearson 424. Our new boat

will allow us to wander farther, faster and more comfortably.”

Their presentation entitled:

A Cruising Couples Guide to Compromise:

“How to Get Along In A Small Space

and Still Like Each Other”

will offer insights into planning, roles, and the compromises needed to fully enjoy such adventures.
