What is energy ?

Energy is the capacity of a physical system to perform work. Energy exists in several forms such as heat kinetic or mechanical energy, light, potential energy, electrical, or other forms.

Page 3: Forms of energy

Kinetic energy

energy due to motion example: when we move from place to another

Page 4: Forms of energy

Kinetic energy and speed

The faster an object moves the more kinetic energy it has

Example1: when we are setting we have not kinetic energy …but if we moving so fast we have kinetic energy

Example 2: the tiger moving fast, it has more kinetic energy than

the humans

Kinetic energy and mass

If two object move in the same speed the object that has more mass have more kinetic energy

Page 7: Forms of energy

Potential energy

Is stored energy to due to the interaction between objects or praticals

Example: her the boy want to through the arrow it is called potential energy … in the second part he through the arrow it is called kinetic energy

Other forms of energy

Name of the form About this form

Sound energy The energy sound carries on it, the use of sustained nuclear fission to generate heat and electricity

Thermal energy The sum of kinetic energy and potential energy, Thermal energy is a term sometimes used to refer to the internal energy present in a system in a state of thermodynamic equilibrium by virtue of its temperature.

Radiant energy The energy that electromagnetic waves, The term "radiant energy" is most commonly used in the fields of radiomatory, solar energy, heating and lighting.

Nuclear energy Is the that stored and released in the nucleus of an atom, Nuclear power, or nuclear energy, is the use of exothermic nuclear processes, to generate useful heat and electricity.
