NCYC - November 21-23, 2019, Indianapolis: Every other year, Catholic young people and their chaperones come together to pray, learn, and grow in their faith. In addition to opportunities to receive the sacraments of the Eucharist and penance, NCYC participants attend general and breakout session on topics relevant to living as a disciple of Christ in today’s world, spend time in personal and communal prayer, and engage in service to others. This event is for students cur-rently in grades 8th to 11th. Students will miss 1 day of school. An absence school note will be provided for you. Families will pay $150 per per-son. Parish will pay $130 per person and the rest will be fundraised. If interested, contact Amaran-ta Kemple, (akemple @stmaryrush.org) as soon as possible, or talk to Fr. James.

JOB OPENING: St. Anne and St. Elizabeth parishes are seeking a Coordinator of Religious Education. Candidates must be fully initiated, practicing Catholics in good standing and an active participant in the Church. This individual will develop and implement faith formation programs for pre-K through 12th grade which includes, but not limited to, preparing students to receive First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The position will also oversee Youth Ministry and Adult Faith Formation for the par-ish including, but not limited to, parish missions/retreats, small groups and evangelization opportunities for the parish and community. 2019 TMIY Summer Session June 2 - August 11, St. Mary School

TMIY will be hosting an adult summer study session in 2019. Meeting time is Sunday mornings, 8:30 to 9:45a.m. in the school multipurpose room. The sessions are not limited to TMIY members only. Anyone 18 or over is welcome to attend. The Bible and the Sacraments is based on the work of world renowned theologian Dr. Scott Hahn. Presented by popular speaker and author Matthew Leonard, the deep mysteries and truths of the sacraments come alive in a whole new way.
