May is finally here!! We hosted some great social activities in April:the Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Brunch and the Kidz Kanvas & Kool-aid. In this issue, you will find some sweet photos of our MCC kiddos enjoying the fun.

Golf tournaments and the Men’s & Ladies Leagues have filled up our golf calendar. The SocialCommittee has some fun summer activities planned which will include a Drive-In movie on the drivingrange (using golf carts for cars); a Roaring 20’s party complete with Bourbon tasting & cigars on thepatio; and many more family events. Stay tuned for details.

Don’t forget . . . . if you sponsor a new member, you have the opportunity to have your dues reducedby 30% dependent upon the category of the new member. The Initiation Fees are still reduced fornew Members during May just not quite as much as they had been since last October.

Life is a Journey. . . and mine recently took an unexpected turn. I will be moving back to Colorado inJune. It has been a true pleasure and blessing to work at the Club. Many of you have become myfriends and all of you will be missed. Leaving is bitter sweet. I thought I would be working here until Iretired, instead I will soon be moving closer to my daughter and grandchildren. Even the Club can’tcompete with being close to family.

I appreciate your ongoing support and confidence in me. I am working hard to make your Clubexperience the best it can be. I welcome your feedback at anytime. Have a wonderful month and Iwill see you around the Club.

~ Diana

A Message from our General Manager

Pool Gamesat 1 pm

April was a great month with the well-attended first tournaments of the season; the Easter Buffet whichhad 360 in attendance; plus we had 17 new Members join the Club. We are now at 50 new & returningMembers since we kicked-off the “Your Club, Our Future” promotion. Thank you to all of those that havetaken the time and made the commitment to help your Club in the recruiting process. We still needseveral more new members in addition to retaining the current membership to meet our 2014 budgets. With your help, I feel confident that we will achieve those goals.

Our summer programs and staff are lined up and ready for a great season at the pool. On May 12th wewill begin to fill the pool and get it ready to open at noon on Thursday, May 22nd. Please help mewelcome Kelly Shamburg, our 2014 Pool Manager. Kelly and her staff are excited to introduce some funnew games and ideas this season to make your pool experience the best that is can be. The Club willhost FAC poolside on Friday, May 30th from 4-6. Please join us and enjoy the camaraderie, free horsd’oeuvres and drink special along with the opportunity to win $$$ member credits.

Thank you to those that have donated to the #7 Cart Path Fund. The path really turned out nice. We allowe a “BIG” thank you to the Shilling Family for working with us to make this happen. Thanks also to DonInce and Dave Carpenter for seeking the donations to pay for this project. Last but not least, thanks to Dr.Danner for his vision and insistence on completing this much needed project. It will serve us well for manyyears to come.

It’s with great regret that I inform you our Office Manager/Marketing Director, Diana Miller, will be leavingus soon. She is relocating back to the Denver area, to be closer to her Daughter and Grandchildren, inearly June. Diana has done an excellent job for us and has made many friends along the way. She will bemissed greatly and I encourage you to stop by the office to thank her for her service and wish her well inthe future.

Thanks for your support and I hope to see you around the Club soon!

Dave

Thank you to all the Members who have donated to the #7 Cart Path fundraiser as of April 30th. We are stillaccepting donations as we are only two/thirds the way to our goal of $10,300. Thank you to Doc Danner forencouraging the much needed repairs; to the Shilling family for making it possible to complete the work beforethe funds were raised; and to Dave Carpenter & Don Ince for spearheading the fundraising. The path looksgreat! Please take the time to check out the improvements made to the cart path.
