Mozart Club To Open 80th Season At Tea
The Mozart Club will open its 80th season Monday with its annual s u m m e r tea. The affair, open
j to m e m b e r s and guests, will be jheld a t 3 P.M., e t Sunset Bay .Manor, Maple Springs. The manor, known to many as Harewood,
I is the former s u m m e r home of Mrs. Albert Howard, who was a
ipast president of the Mozart Club.
The program will be presented i by Miss Julia Louise Her rmann , principal harpis t of the Dallas .
:Tex., Symphony Orchestra , and h a r p instructor at Southern Methodist University and »\"orth Texas State College.
Miss Her rmann , a native of Oklahoma, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and the Juil l iard School of Music, New York City, where she was a scholarship pupil of Marcel Grandjany. She is completing her fourth summ e r as harpist and instructor at Chautauqua Institution where she has appeared as soloLst with the symphony orches t ra and in recitals.
