The business
The income is derived from a
combination of craft centre rent,
glamping pad lettings, touring pitch fees
and clubhouse sales.
Our clients have been continually
investing in the development of the park
and as a result the income has shown
very strong growth from the caravan
park element of the business.
The annual sales for 2016 and 2017
together with 9 months ended 31
December 2018 are summarised as
follows:
The estimated Total Sales for the year
ending 31 March 2018 is around
£1,300,000.
It should be noted that until April 2016
the rent paid by the individual Craft
Centre occupiers included business
rates. These rates are now paid directly
by the stallholders and there has been a
corresponding reduction in the rates
paid by the park as a result.
There has been a substantial increase in
income generated by the Caravan Park
element of the business following the
introduction of new Glamping pods and
the refurbishment of the clubhouse.
Holiday sales are generated via the
park’s website combined with print and
other marketing.
The craft centre units are occupied by a
complementary mix of tenants including
antiques, crafts and a children’s play
barn.

Planning
Planning consent is in place for a further
5 pods being the unimplemented
element of the scheme granted in
November 2015 for 20 pods in total. In
addition consent was been granted in
2017 for a further 12 pods thereby
