For my interactive media product I have chosen an apple cutter as this was most

attractive and used by the public. I have also explored many other products that are quiet similar to it such as a banana slicer and a vegetable turner which turns

vegetables into endless spirals.

Product (apple cutter)• This fruit cutter allows you to slice into the core of your fruit in

one easy motion. • It is the ideal and very useful for when you have a dinner party

and want to have perfectly cut apples. It has a durable stainless cutting blade which slices easily through the apple to produce perfectly cut wedges.

• This apple cutter is a kitchens gadget that is made specifically to cut apples into neat perfect wedges. There are different types of apple slicer that produce different shapes of apple pieces. The product service and why it would benefit from online advert.

• If you are running late in the morning! This banana slicer is one clean and easy way to cut and they are ready for cereals. This banana cutter is perfect for cereals, fruit salads, and sundaes. Its target audiences is for all ages including children. It is an easy tool for arthritic hands. Also can be used for cutting sticks of butter or soft cheese into table spoon sizes slices.

• It is an easy way to use and safe for children to use. Rather then using a knife. It slices through the banana in one quick motion especially when children love to slice through their own banana. It’s a simple gift for mothers or a banana lovers. It is approximately 10 inches long and x 3 inches wide.

Carrot • This vegetable turns ordinary veggies

into spaghetti or endless spirals. It is easy and fun product to have in the kitchen. This products target audience is mainly to adults and children. It is easy to use simply slide the carrot on a twister screw, screw on slicer and turn for astonishing teaming.

Pre-visualisation • Before starting the video I have met with

some of the group who will be filming with me. We discussed issues such as where and how we will be advertising this Apple Cutter. We have also created an eye catching story board and script to help plan our advert. The story board will help us to stay on track and end up with a good quality advertisement.

Legal and ethical consideration • The regulation which I must follow for my chosen product in

order to create my advertisement are:• All marketing and advertising must be within the following

categories a legal, decent, truthful, honest and socially responsible e.g. not encouraging illegal, unsafe or anti social behaviour.

• It also must not include any kind of false or deceptive messages, or leave out any important information. Do not use any aggressive sales techniques.

• I must also ensure that I use my own logo’s or trademark or something which is very similar. Also I must not compare my product with a competitor’s product that’s not the same.

Video Sequences Specification

• My video sequences will ensure that it meets my clients needs. For example, these may be a description of how to use the product step by step guide.

Technique consideration: • These consideration may involve file format, saving my

file into windows media file as specified. Also I must ensure that my file size is suitable for it to be advertised in a web banner format. In order to have a successful video I must change the compression so that my video quality is clear and defined.
