The GHIN Handicap Program™ is currentlybeing used at golf clubs that comprise morethan 94 percent of all golfers on the GHIN service. This sophisticated software programpermits club members to actively participatein such processes as Score Entry, CourseHandicapSM conversion, and Peer Review, whilealso providing a number of other features tohelp the Handicap Committee perform itsmany duties. A new graphical interface incor-porating touch-screen technology allows for anintuitive environment in the process.

The Management Program allows manyHandicap Committee functions to be per-formed, whether managing player or clubinformation, or simply customizing the soft-ware to meet a club’s specific needs. Golf clubs using the GHINHandicap Program transmit information electronically to and from GHIN, either via alocal or toll-free telephone number, or by using the Internet. Club administrators canalso choose from a large library of reports, ordesign their own reports, using the program’spowerful Report Designer.

The Tournament Pairing Program® (TPP®) hasreached a high level of national recognitionwith the many outstanding features that wereadded in 2000. GHIN developed the tourna-ment software with the foresight to keep stepssimple, allowing any tournament chairman tostep through setting up a tournament and, at the same time, offer many powerful featuresaccommodating requests from the advancedusers. TPP can literally perform any task necessary for the tournament – from teams,flights, and pairings, to printing scorecards and scoring. Powerful management screensallow numerous tasks to be accomplishedfrom one single screen, such as pairingexchanges, adding additional pairing groups,making cart assignments, etc.

Tournament administrators can also choosefrom a large library of reports, including labelsand cart signs, or they can design their ownreports, labels or cart signs by using the power-ful Report Designer contained in the program. Once scores are entered, they can be postedautomatically to the GHIN Handicap Program.
