We grew up with the sounds and visuals of MTV2 in the 90's. We clearly
wear those influences on our sleeves, for us Rock n' Roll is a way of life,
we play music together, write as a band and help each other develop ideas.
We are a rock band that likes overdriven amplifiers, loud guitars, funky
basslines, big drums and catchy melodies …

Looking for Droids thrives in a live situation,
their connection with the audience always end up
with the crowd jumping, dancing and smiling,
they always give it all. They have performed in
iconic venues in London such as the O2 Bar
Academy, the Barfly, the Garage, the Underworld
Camden, the WaterRats, the Bull & Gate, the
Dublin Castle, the 100 Club and the Borderline,
as well as some great UK venues in
Southampton, Leicester, Nottingham, Oxford,
Brighton, Cambridge and Guildford.
They have also played shows in open air
festivals in Krakow, Lublin, Berlin and Prague
while touring Europe. They have been building a
strong following and every time they gig, the
website gets more hits and their social network
pages keep growing.

Releases
In 2012 the band recorded their debut album at
PointBlank Studios in London, they see recording
this material, as their testament as an
independent gigging band in the London scene.
The Indie label Vagabundos Records has
recorded and produced all of their work. The
digital distribution has been left on the hands
of AWAL.
Their debut digital Single “Flashback” was
released on Nov 22nd 2010, it contains the tracks
“Flashback” and “Magdalene”.
This release was done under
the band name Flashback but
after a few gigs it was decided
to rebrand the band with a more
striking name and they changed
it to Looking for Droids.
Their full length debut “L4D” album was released
on Apr 28th 2012. A remix of the track "Reality" was
re-released on 2014, mixed this time by
Producer/Engineer Grammy winner Andres Borda.
Their latest material was recorded and produced
by Robert Corich in 2015/16 at Crown Lane
Studios in London, the first batch of tracks is an
EP called "Overdose" that was released on
November 2016. The full album was released on
August 25th 2017. Mastering was done by
Grammy Winner Producer Andres Borda.

Looking for Droids is an unsigned band.
Their influences vary, but a good starting point is
the classic sound of twin rock guitars such
Guns n' Roses, the funky beats of Red Hot Chili
Peppers and melody hints from Pearl Jam.
They are based in South London but the core fan
base normally travel to North London to catch up
