Invito a cualquier

4th Sunday of Easter / 4° Domingo de Pascua
Fr. Manuel Pastoral Letter with details on this weekend, May 2 & 3, Public Mass Celebration
April 29, 2020
Dear all in Christ,
The grace of the Risen Lord be with you and with your families. After a long period of not celebrating mass
together as a community and following the directions of our Bishop Michael Olson, I announce with great hope the
following:
This Thursday, April 30thth at 3PM and Friday, May 1st at 4PM we will have confessions (two priests will be
available). Confessions will be held on the patio of the church with a mobile confessional (confession will be
heard using a screen, not face to face) keeping the social distance of 6 feet. Marks will be on the floor, indicating
where to stand while you are waiting your confession. Please do not socialize before or after confession. You
must wear a mask at all times. Please, do not bring children if they are not receiving the sacrament.
We will have masses this weekend according to our normal schedule:
Saturday at 5PM in English (this mass is only for those 60 and older) 7PM in Spanish.
Sunday masses will be at 9 and 11AM in English, and at 1PM in Spanish.
During this time of transition, we will also have a 3PM mass in Spanish. At a later date, this 3PM mass will be
discontinued, and we will resume the pre-pandemic mass times. Attendance at each mass is limited to 175 people in
the church. For your health and safety, designated pews will be available with “safe space seating” fully enforced.
Ushers will guide you to designated safe seating. No one should come to mass showing ANY signs of illness.
Vulnerable people should not come to Mass. It`s imperative to wear mask all the time in the church. If there are
children who are not able to wear mask, please do not bring them. Church will be cleaned at the end of each Mass.
The overflow number of parishioners exceeding 175 will be asked to remain in their vehicles or return to a later
scheduled mass. Holy Eucharist will be distributed at the end of mass for those choosing to remain in their vehicles.
Use the sanitizer at the entrance of the church as you enter and exit. Please, do not socialize before, during nor after
mass. Communion will be distributed only in your hand. 6 baskets for collection will be placed at the entrance of the
Church near the statues of Mary and St. Peter. Please leave your donations there. At this time, we are not using
missalettes nor the music hymnals. Daily Mass will resume at 8 AM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday in the main church. The same guidelines and safety precautions as above will be followed. The weekend
bulletin is available only online. Please visit the web page at https://www.stpeterfw.com/ It’s strongly recommended
that during this transitional time people 65 years of age and older stay at home. Catechism for children will continue
with online instruction. No classes will be held on campus. RCIA classes will resume the 2nd week of May keeping
the safe social distance. Group meetings and other ministries are not scheduled to resume until further notice. The
parish offices reopen on May 4th. While you visit the offices, please wear a mask at all times and use hand sanitizer.
Masses for 1st Communion, Confirmations and Sacraments of Initiation are scheduled as we have previously
announced. If you have questions please contact our DRE, Youth Coordinator, and leaders for RCIA.
Adoration of Holy Eucharist will be held in the Church 3 to 8PM on Monday and Thursday. Only 175 people in the
church. Wearing a mask is imperative. Mass will not be live streamed anymore. It should be clear that coming to
Mass and/or attending Adoration of Holy Eucharist at this time entails a risk of contracting the virus. I discourage
anyone attending who is vulnerable in any way or those living with the vulnerable.
